I believe there were contractual reasons why Nick Lowe is not seen clearly in the video - it's the opposite way round if you watch Cruel to be Kind where Dave Edmunds is not seen clearly. The band on both records is the same (Rockpile), but because Lowe and Edmunds were contracted to different labels they had to give the appearance of being solo records rather than Rockpile recordings.
