  • Good times 2006, summers seemed to be warmer back then...

... Also fuck, that's nearly 6 years ago now!

  • This is my happy video/song for when im feeling down

  • fucking great man, in my mind this is amazing.

  • Great Cover, make me want to dance...

  • Oh Bob, let me see your face..

Oh please dearie, come closer, my eyes are not what they once was.

Oh Bub, you remind me of when I was a child, now I am old and dying, not as strong as I ought too, Promise me that you will look after your sister Bob and dont be sad all your life as i have been, reach the hundreds..

Leave me alone now bub, I have to rest..

  • Great ;-)

  • This is pure love

  • Was that Newcastle Brown in your fridge?! The best drink ever!

  • Love this song. So badass. Love this remix too.. badass.

  • is there a download for this version?

  • Really great job man. Good work. Keep it inovative.

  • great job

  • This is an excellent cover of a great song. Really well done and even thought the video is quite simple it's just perfect.

    Well done on all accounts.

  • This is MFM 9

  • Just for the record its number 9 for me. Great adaptation of the song.

  • Comes down about halfway between the theme from "Zorba the Greek" and a 50s song, "Sittin' here la la waitin' for my ya ya.

Pretty good. I faved it just to see where it leads.

  • The tune with a beautiful melody can do any arrangement.

This is a video like such a model.

Thank you for putting it.(^ ^)

  • I'd like to know where to get this albumn. (without a torrent -.-)

  • no way.

    like

    it's near impossible

seeing as how it was never officially released :s

  • 10??? Well, I got the 9 one from Aphex Twin and it's just like that! :S Maybe I gotta change both here on my iTunes...

  • Drums are so nice. As usual

  • It's number 10, not 9

  • this tune has been number 9 every time i came across it

  • that's strange. Has always been number 10 for me.

  • Ok lol i can explain this: one of the MFM tracks is a Fingerbib demo, so people always get the other MFM tracks' numbers mixed up by 1.

  • I see, but it's not really a demo, it's rather a longer version

  • this is my fave melody from mars. and its less mellancholly than the electronic version

  • this is a very cute rendition

  • i think thats number 10, of Melodies From Mars, love the song and the video fits perfectly.

  • I added the original song to the video comments.

  • THIS SONG ROCKS

    VERY IMPRESSIVE

  • This cover is one of my most listened to songs

  • This is great.. Well done mate!!! Im impessed.....I dont usually write positive youtube comments either!!! but this ones a keeper!! ON YA MATE!!!!

  • Good job!!!

  • you sure thats no.9?

  • Positive, but as posted in the description, it is an acoustic cover of it as performed by Locust Toybox (AKA David Firth).

  • no it's not

    this #10, definitely

  • @AmazingBob I didnt know that locust toybox is david firth!

  • it is untitled, but its off of the unreleased melodies from mars album by aphex twin

  • Awesome. 5 stars, does anybody know the title of the song? Can't find it anywhere, I just saw it on that Hollowhead video. Thanks.

  • This is what youtube is all about. bravo

  • shit... didn't mean to give you a thumbs down. apologies.

  • this was nice..

needed to listen to this after a friend showed my a video of that soldier guy getting his head cut off witha pen knife... urgghh,,,

    thuis is really cool though!

  • great cover this and track 6 are my faves from the album

  • I really enjoyed this video.. I think it went surprisingly well with the music. Very good use of what's around you... Really goes to show what creative editing and a good eye can do!

  • Thet is one of my best AFX songs, and listening what U did with it made me cry, tnx 4 good emo vibe ;-)

  • Hey, just because you're lame. You know.

  • i somewat like locust toybox aphex is better but some of there diolouge sucks, "can i have some milk from the milkmans wifes tits" ??????

  • I think that was am Aphex Twin song.

  • Yeah, it was.

  • wtf???

  • Why is that bad? That is awesome. Those are the coolest lyrics I have heard in any song ever.

  • The lyrics come from the Aphex Twin song "Milkman" from the "Girl Boy" EP

  • im playing five of these at once it sounds really weird but awesome

  • Yeah I don't get why Firth marked it as a Locust Toybox song when it was obviously just him and the other Grape Diggers.

  • No em, its just Dave. he plays all the instruments himself. there is another project called "I'm The Manager" which is also Firth solo. The drums and synths in all Locust Toybox songs are from his drum machine/Logic Pro (formerly FL Studio) as well as some recorded sounds from a camcorder.

  • wait, that comment was supposed to be a reply to a former post.. eh whatever

    nice vid. props

  • I know of his musical work, yeh. but he also has a band with Christian and others called the Grape Digging Sharon Fruits and this reminded me of something they would have performed. Also, I quite enjoy I'm The Manager, especially 14,000 Wires.

  • not bad not bad. check out my Locust Toybox video.

  • Simply Excellent.

  • It was you that made this music video??

    very nice...!

    And i love both 'bands'...

Locust Toybox is always making songs like that...then when other guy does, they make an acoustic version! haha,fantastic... :)

  • I can't decide which version I like more >.< Ty for posting this :)

  • Yes, I've noticed that as well.

I enjoy both, and have been getting heavily into Aphex Twin as of late. Both are good, but I enjoy the concept more on this.

  • It seems more people David Firth's version of this song than the original. I personally love both, even though I knew AFX long before. Great video, looking foreward to more of your uploads.

  • Eh, personally I like the original more. I find the beeping noises more pleasureful and less generic.

  • Very nice. The video is a great fit to the song. Simple, progressing, circular, foreign but familiar.

    Well done.
