With all due respect to the creators, I agree with andz2mai, I dont believe this is performed correctly. The tester is not really performing lateral roation. That is more horizontal abd and adduction with flexion and extension.
I would look at some other videos on clucnk test to get a more wider view on how to perform this test.
my both shoulders grind and do noises, it doesent mean there is tear. This is crap. Then my all joints need surgery. i guess even fingers. Grinding can be problem with muscles to. This video actually wont say anything.
Labral tear. The labrum is the cartilage which helps to deepen the socket which the ball of the upper arm fits into. I suffer from an anterior(frontal) tear in the labrum myself. I am looking at rehab or possibly surgery if rehabilitation doesn't work. (Does in 80% of cases.) Good luck.

hey, your doing it wrong.
in lateral rotation, you did circumduction. it is different from lateral rotation.
lateral rotation is rotating away from the body in anatomical position.

I'm going in for my 3rd sugery next week. The 1st was a SLAP repair, the 2nd was labrum and the one coming up is labrum repair. I hope this is it!
