  • Nice post thanks, great memories, Granny lived on John Knox St. I remember the high walls of Duke St. prison and listening to my echo underneath the Bridge of Sighs. Granny would give me threepence to get " two sheeps tails for the soup " from the butcher.

    In my teens I spent time chasing a fair lassie in Partick and Whiteinch,,oh she was lovely. Then in '65 I was off to Canada, on my own at 19. I loved old Glasgow, barely found a trace of it when I was home 5 years ago, enjoyed this clip.
