@ssnaress: yeah. it must be TERRIBLE for a band to do some "poppy shit" and they can actually SUPPORT themselves while playing music for a living. grow a brain, assface.
@ssnaress: their image-yes but the core and power of their music has never gone. hell the first half of their new album is like a punch in the chest!...as far as their sound changing---honestly i am all about a band evolving and playing the music THEY want to. granted when Staind pulled that shit with their last album, I kinda thought, well "fuck that asshole. staind is dead to me now."---BUT in THAT case, the band hardly even offers anything REMOTELY heavy. so I guess I can understand.
@thedazedbandman I think they played the music they wanted to when they produced this album in their garage. i don't think it was a matter of evolution, instead it was fame and the record label having their commercial influence which led to the pop-style. Sure they should try and make money from their talents, but not to the point in which their talents are drowned by a sea of cash. In other words, there is a balance - which to be honest, i think they unfortunately exceeded....
im not gonnaa be a killjoy and be the first disliker to this song, but its very deprressing
