This sogn just never gets old. It's as somebody said before, it's one of their most beautiful, but extremely intense songs ever. Thank you for posting all these videos, as I've been enjoying everyone's old Sonic Youth shows on here lately.
tis song is so cool, it's beyond frigin awesome and exploring new planets of cool. Kim Gordon = coolest girl in rock. Ever. Period. But never forget PJ
Wow & Geez... I was at this show. I think the opener was fIREHOSE, first tour after d. Boon from Minutemen died? The encore was Starpower, with the Sonics, firehose and roadies all on stage. Before they played I was standing behind Kim Gordon in the audience, thinking she was hot and wondering why I'd never seen her around the scene! I recall it well, as it was a fave band at their peak. Thanks, sonicchout - did you shoot this? Where'd it come from (Tom Noerper).
Thank you SONICchout this group was so ahead of its time this is in 86 and it sounds like 94!!! I didn't know the the group was this old!!! I thought they started in the late 80's early 90's WOW!!!
it was a method that was used more so on earlier record "bad moon rising" (1985) which came from touring and having to tune guitars in between songs while performing live.
I was celebrating my third birthday when this happened and my parents are from St. Louis. What a coinkydink.

@aubreylear :
And Kim Gordon is still as hot as she was back then. Staying hot for a quarter of a century, that really casts a shadow of a doubt
