  • The best Pho in Texas in "Pho Vietnam" in Arlington, TX. This place has REAL vietnamese food made fresh daily

  • YOU RUINED IT WITH THE SAUCE!!!

  • @kt003355 exactly...u mean the hot sauce right?;) nutting but fresh chilli

  • made me hungry xDD my ma make me pho every week end with real bones ^_^ lucky me that i dont ahve to drive so far DX

  • Funny video. NIce to someone in love with pho. Dude don't even know what's in it, lol.

  • Pho tai chin is not rare, it's rare and well done.

  • @dvdpham19 I heard from a lot of other sources that Pho Binh by Night down in Bellaire was very good. I will be trying it soon and I'll let you know if I change my mind!

@jackholexxx That is very true what you said about good pho and good steak not needing any additions, but I assure you, it does not need anything to make it taste better. We who eat pho often just enjoy the flavor of pho with the additional sauces. In my case, I always drink the broth before I add anything into it.

  • I wouldnt trust anyone's judgement of a pho restaurant if they put that much hoisin and sriracha sauce into his broth. All you are doing is adding additional MSG, sodium, and unnecessary flavors into an already perfectly created beef broth made out of real bones.

If you find good pho, you don't need any hoisin or sriracha to enjoy it. Maybe a tad squeeze of each but not much as you do. Just as a good steak doesn't need A1, good pho doesn't need all that extra flavoring unless it truly need it

  • @jackholexxx Your right!! I eat Pho three times a week and all I need to add is lime. If it's GOOD well made pho, you dont need anything. Sometimes I like to make my sinuses go crazy so I add the home made chili sauce my place makes that is on the table. LOVE PHO!!!!!

  • You just made me hungry as F#$%!

  • love pho and that bowl look so damn good right now

  • @hbk5520 ooooh yeaaaaaaaaa. best pho is IN vietnam ON the streets

  • Here in Montreal, Canada there are a lot of amazing Vietnamese Pho restaurants. If you have a chance to visit you will not be disappointed. Other thing I notice is a great deal of Vietnamese Pho in US cook by Chinese-Vietnamese owners (they always hang chinese sign on the wall) which is not a good sign. Saying that I mean Vietnamese cook chowmein will not be as good as Chinese cook does.

  • By the way, the hours and stuff has changed over the last year or so. They're now opened until 6pm, not 7 and they are closed on Mondays now.

  • Dude.. I totally agree with you! I have tried pho all over Houston and this place is by far the best. I have been coming here since it first opened a long time ago because my house is less than ten minutes away :) I was reading the other comments about people disagreeing with you that this isn't the best pho in the world and the U.S. It clearly states that this is the "Best Pho in Houston" in your title. So I don't know why people are getting on your ass. It's your opinion and I agree 100%.

  • the dude likes that place get off his dick its the best to him

  • @tastycajun0381 I have been to Saigon 2 times and Hanoi 1 once. First bowl I ate in Saigon was at Pho 21.

Pho 21 = McDonalds version of Pho. Real Pho cannot be mass produced like hamburgers.

SHOW ME THE BONE! NO BONE IN POT, NOT REAL PHO?

  • I have tried over 1 hundred Houston Pho restaurants, With an experienced pallet like mine, I can tell the difference between REAL BONE and canned beef stock.

Most Pho owners are more concerned about a pretty restaurant with plasma TVs on the wall than quality Pho made with REAL BONES. Good pho comes have several days old broth pot. I have not found any other place in Houston with REAL BONES.

  • @dougitman

i can tell youre a pho aficionado. but in all seriousness if you've never tried pho Binh, then you are really missing out.

Go to Pho Binh By Night , On Bellaire, in between kirkwood and cook. Ask for the stewed meat that is taken off of the bones (yes they use real bones there). you can also get the bone marrow. trust me. you will be making a new you tube video about how you found an even better place . i promise you.

  • @dougitman

pho binh by night on bellaire and cook makes their broth with real beef knuckle bones. try it out. you wont regret it. and you might even change your mind about which place has the best pho in town.

  • How do you know its the best place in the US if its the only place you go?

  • Honestly if you've eaten at the same place for Ten years then you wouldnt know whats the difference between good and average Pho.

Go to Pho Binh if you want to have truly the BEST pho not just in Texas but the entire WORLD. theres 4 locations. beamer Rd and Beltway (SE) .. Bellaire and wilcrest, 290 and mangum, - and lastly, Pho Binh By Night-Bellaire and cook. they open from 4pm-midnight on wkdays, 4pm-3am on friday/saturday. Trust me, you will be simply astounded and you will thank me.

  • @dvdpham19 SHOW ME THE BONE, NO BONE IN POT, NOT REAL PHO?

  • @dvdpham19 I highly doubt it's the best in Texas or the World. I've tried pho all over Bellaire and all the pho I've had there was OK at best. The broth at Pho Hu Tieu Nam Vang, or Phnom Penh as the locals call it, has the best and most unique broth out there. Give it a try!

  • @dvdpham19

We tried Pho Binh five times this year.

Pho Binh is going down hill..: big bow , a lot of meat, good noodle ,,,but below average broth...

Swanson soup broth has better flavor than Pho Binh.

Pho Binh is made for "American not for Vietnamese!"

  • @dvdpham19 I grew up down the street from the one on Beamer Rd. and it was this unsightly trailer that I didn't even know was a restaurant until I went to college, had some Pho, came home, and realized what "Pho" meant!! :D

  • YOU ARE MAKING ME HUNGRY , STOP

  • "I don't know what they put in it, but there is some special ingredient that I don't want to know, I don't even wanna know or take a guess of what it is." LMAO!!!!

  • I got to get my hands up for you. Same Pho for the last ten years at the same place! WOW.

  • glad u enjoy it...ohhh have you try Vietnamese Sandwich... Banh mi ?

aww you gotta try that !!!!

  • but when i eat pho my soup is red becouse of the chillisouce!plus fresh chilli! but this soup is easy 2 make i am a coock and its easy!but i dont wanna make it in our kitchen cuz i love eating out:-D

  • @AV8FREAK

    Yeah right! Gimme a break!

  • @AV8FREAK Yes you said it urself you are a coock LOL

  • @hbk5520 he is talking about the place that has the best pho in Houston. a city in america. of course pho comes from vietnam :) i think his point was to say of all the places he has tried in that area (houston) that one had the best. by the way pho is awesome :)

  • the secret ingredient i think is nuoc bao. i dont know how to pronounce the word bao but im viet and my dad used to work at pho 79. the best pho evar!!!!!!!

  • @hbk5520

He's talking about Pho shops in the U.S.A national scale only, not world scale

  • Awesome accent mayn

  • in fresno they serve more noodles than that.they also give you more meat in it

  • @randysaetern

You consider a "good bowl of Pho" is a bowl which has more meat and noodle??? You have taste at all??? It's about the quality, not quantity

  • PHO TAI BO DIEN FTW :)

  • Hey, you probably don't want to know whats in that noodle. For sure thats some good stuff though. I'm asian and I know the ingredient. But if I tell you the secret ingredient, don't want your dog to go missing and you pretend that it wonders off.

  • I like my pho with extra lime. Add a lot of siracha hot sauce and a little hoisen sauce. Now there's a soup that is spicy and tangy mmm damit! I want one now! Gotta try that place.

  • lol by the time this video finishes, its gonna be cold when he eats it. ahaha

  • I have not try Pho from this place yet but it sure looked good. Will try it someday.

I like Pho alot, it is cheap, healthy, tasty what else can you ask for about 6 bucks.

The Pho restaurant I like the most is Pho Saigon. It has about 10 restaurants around Houston. If I in downtown I can go to Pho Saigon Milam. If I in the northwest I can go to Pho Saigon Tidwell. If I in the southwest I can go to Pho Saigon W. Airport at Eldridge.

  • Hmmm... well then you have to come to the twin cities in MN for the best pho. They have it all over the city, and trust me five dollars will fill you up with a bowl of pho. :) Btw that licorice taste/ smell is what we Asian use in certain dishes, mostly soups to flavor savory dishes. It's called star anise, and yes it is in the shape of a star :)

  • special ingrediant; MSG

    enjoy =)

  • Comment removed

  • @YuDumPhuck It' true about the msg

  • u are making me hungry!!! i love pho too!!! i should go there one day!!!

  • If you come to Austin ever, look up Tam's Deli and get some Pho bo Tai Chin. Best I have had so far in this town! Tai Chin refers to the rare steak and well done brisket in the Pho. The "black bean" sauce you are showing is actually the hoisin sauce. Star Anise is one of the things in the broth making it licorice tasting. Pho is the best and I have become addicted!!! Going to have to check this place out next time I'm in H-Town!

  • da vang in phx is the best
