i need HELP! i boughtt he game today and it says i have 29 days left to play but when i go to play the game it keeps saying that the environment is unavailable!
I've played as a balance sage up to level 48 and recently respecced to the tk tree, I'm finding I'm topping damage by far but when I end up 1 vs 1 with a marauder in melee I'm completely fucked. Whereas with a balance sage you have sever force insta- lift and no cool down on telekinetic throw you dont have to worry about being faced in melee, but with a tk sage you're pretty useless unless you have your team to hide behind taking shots at the enemy team. Just my opinion from game play.
Love how you're using an exploited crystal. Kinda stupid to make a video with it as numerous others ave been getting banned for having it but hey, to each their own. And to anyone that says it comes from this boss or that boss, is lying.
Why does your force armor look different than when I use it? It doesnt look as cool as the way yours looks. O.O Yours bubbles. Mine is sorta white and just stays visible. Isnt blue or bubble like yours.

The beauty is, the class has so many bells and whistles that there's no way BW can nerf it short of a huge overhaul in design. I used to have to bust my ass off to make top 5 as operative. Now I'm top 3 ALWAYS.
I started with a Gunslinger, but just tried out the Jedi Sage, and I have to say that it is MUCH bigger DPS than Gunslinger. Much more fun to play as well. Thanks for the vid

@Bigsam250 well bioware patched that with 1.1.to begin with there was only one pvp bracket and the lower lvl players got buffed (concerning dmg and health).now 50s have their own bracket but you can still fight a lvl 49 as a lvl 10 which if you ask me is retarded but the game's new so we just have to wait and see :)
Lower levels get buffed in Warzones to match the stats of the higher levels.
The difference of power in regards to what level you are in this game isn't so drastic as it is in MMOs like Wow.
For example at level 10 in Wow, if you try to hit someone max level you you simply will miss / they will resist / dodge everything you do, where their health is anywhere from 100,000 - 200,000 more than yours and can one shot you.
In Sw:ToR, the health increase, and resistance isn't so dramatic.
For example, think of a level 10 fireball in Wow. Does about 50 damage. An 85 using fireball with no gear will do roughly 1200 damage. The difference is clearly ridiculously high.
But in SwToR, while a level 50 certainly does more damage than a level 10, it isn't such a huge amount. So if you think about that, then know that stats are buffed which means gear means little, the only thing lower levels are missing are some abilities (most of which they get by level 30) and some talents.
@Throthgar Anyone under 50 automatically gets buffed to level 49 so the gear you have under level 50 doesn't give you much advantage over say a level 10 stat wise
Exactly, though I think the item rating relative to your level gives improvements, or some such complicated workings.
Say a level 20 was decked out in epics, whereas a 45 was in blues. The blue gear would be higher rating overall, but not compared to the level of the character, so the person in level 20 epics would have a better stat increase.
It's probably just me, but the Sage seems incredibly boring. It's not the gameplay itself, it's the animations and spell effects that bother me. Throwing rocks, shooting rubble and projecting bright lights are simply not as cool and exciting as lightning and force chokes. I know it makes sense from a lore standpoint, but it's a shame the Republic classes are so unattractive in these areas. It's the same with Bounty Hunter VS Trooper. But then again, it's probably just me.
@Voffsing1 forgot to mention, the project of sage is not completly istant, first the rock appears then floats then it shoots, while the lightning from sorcerer acts istantly and deals istant damage :P however i like the project animation for its proc way more than the lightning one.. when project procs it adds an extra boulder... with lightning the caster riases his hand forward the target for a second lightning beam... its hard to notice unless you look for it :s
Jedi Sage and Sith sorcerer supposed to be mirror classes, yet the dps talent are totally different, for example jedi sage got the talent wich gives project a 50% chance to cast another project dealing 150% of normal damage,and sith sorcerer got the spell shock, and the talent is 50% chance to cast another shock doing 50% of normal damage... wtf is that all about :D
@TheSmokezalot Last i checked it was 45% chance to hit for 50% of normal damage and sorc does have the advantage with elemental or internal (not 100% sure which one) damage thats not mitigated by armor, Sage is kinetic and mitigated so one can wonder who really has the upper hand.
@GeneralPrime2 Depends on what you are. Jedi Knight = blue, Jedi consular = green all sith get red i think, im not sure cause i play republic. Yes you can change you lightsaber colour to w/e colour you want later on. I dont mean any colour but you can be a jedi and use red for example.

@OddeyeDL Everyone gets the same stats as the highest level player... E.g. If there's a level 50 player in the Warzone, then a level 12 player would have the stats of a level 50 player... Just not the spells.
@BlakOktobure dude play the game, do some pvp and you will the VAST difference between a lev 12 and a 50. A 12 has zero chance of surviving. Its just so they dont die as fast and do some relevant damage.

@VolcanicDragon27 Unless you're on a PvP server there's no reason to go down the DPS tree. Que PvP as a healer I hit just as hard and I'm only lvl 34. If I try I can get about 80K DPS and close to 200K healing. Yeah his DPS is at 170K, but he's lvl 50 I'm sure once I hit 50, and able to pawned level's 10's to 20's.Also geared out in lvl 50 PvP armor will make it a lot closer too.
@VolcanicDragon27 I'm the top Valor-Ranked player on the Republic side of my server (Gardens of Talla), and I'm a DPS Sage. If you want to go DPS as a sage, go for it. You will still have the ability to heal your team, you just won't be a leet healer. The Sage has so many tools in its arsenal to just wreck shop in pvp. The shadow has far fewer. Plus, the Shadow is a very situational DPS'r. I never lose a fight 1 on 1 vs Shadows in Huttball, or their empire counterparts.
@VolcanicDragon27 DPS sage is good because is offeres alot of sustainability and can off heal if needed. Shadow is good cause they can go invisible and has great burst damage and can off tank. Its really a mater of choice.
@VolcanicDragon27 honestly sage dps is insane, better than a shadow by far, im a 50 shadow and i get 150k-200k dmg per warzone but my friend who's a 50 sage get's nearly 400k in a good game
@T3hChief Damage is different from dps, also consider you will generally be in melee, all up in their grill, while your friend can sit back and pump out the damage, generally ranged have better damage at the end in every mmo unless you have some fine healers
@VolcanicDragon27 the sage is just as valid to dps... shadow will be more of a Melee DPS and the sage is more of a Ranged DPS like a mage would be on WoW, I've been playing with a sage DPS and iit deals looads of damage efficiently on both PvP and PvE

Loved the video. I have a Shadow and I've been thinking about rerolling it to a Sage because Shadow's are just alright IMO, and this definitely confirmed it. This class not only looks awesome for PvE and PvP, but also just fun to play with so much going on.

@gtenshi not it doesn't. armor means nothing in pvp when the lvl 10s have the same amount of hp. sure she has more abilities but if they do the same amount of damage as her others it doesn't really matter. Plus she was using the same abilities throughout the game. its not like shes using every single one of them.
@gtenshi Eumm... do you have a clue about how swtor pvp works? All get almost the same hp and dmg, for example on my IA my max crit on mobs are 600. (lvl 12) And in a Warzone 3.3k.
@gtenshi yeah high level sages and sorcs are OP in PvP at the moment because theyre shields take a shit ton of damage + their heals heal them for like 70% of their HP but thatll be fine when everyones the same level , just at the moment even with the scaling for other classes theyre OP in the warzones against low levels
are low level players able to kill you in this game? in wow a 40 level difference meant the lowbie couldn't even land spells let alone dent your health bar. could you explain how this works please?
@TheErrorlord 14.99. If you buy more months you pay less. $14.99 x 6 = $89.94. If you get the 6 month package you pay like $77 something, which is about $13, so you save about $2 per month, in 6 months = $12. Good for a pizza.
Ok so you played great in this vid, but you did "only" 172k damage. On my first warzone on level 10-12 bounty hunter, I was first in damage done, dealing 189k dmg. Don't you think BH damage is totally op? I also had lvl 27 sith warrior, and he was totally no match to hunter in terms of damage and medals awarded in the end of the warzones.
@komorpoland damage is relative. "only" 172k damage when it's double everyone elses, my team easily wins the game, I get a ridiculous amount of kills and the game only lasts for ~9-10 minutes is far better than 189k damage in whatever situation you were in.
@faction60 How did you get a white color crystal for your saber? i have yet to see anyone on my server have one. or a black one. i rarely see purple... white must be the rarest one to get.

You will still have the ability to heal your team, you just won't be a leet healer. The Sage has so many tools in its arsenal to just wreck shop in pvp. The shadow has far fewer. Plus, the Shadow is a very situational DPS'r. I never lose a fight 1 on 1 vs Shadows in Huttball, or their empire counterparts.

@VolcanicDragon27 DPS sage is good because is offeres alot of sustainability and can off heal if needed. Shadow is good cause they can go invisible and has great burst damage and can off tank. Its really a mater of choice.

@VolcanicDragon27 honestly sage dps is insane, better than a shadow by far, im a 50 shadow and i get 150k-200k dmg per warzone but my friend who's a 50 sage get's nearly 400k in a good game

@T3hChief Damage is different from dps, also consider you will generally be in melee, all up in their grill, while your friend can sit back and pump out the damage, generally ranged have better damage at the end in every mmo unless you have some fine healers

@VolcanicDragon27 the sage is just as valid to dps... shadow will be more of a Melee DPS and the sage is more of a Ranged DPS like a mage would be on WoW, I've been playing with a sage DPS and iit deals looads of damage efficiently on both PvP and PvE

Loved the video. I have a Shadow and I've been thinking about rerolling it to a Sage because Shadow's are just alright IMO, and this definitely confirmed it. This class not only looks awesome for PvE and PvP, but also just fun to play with so much going on.

@gtenshi not it doesn't. armor means nothing in pvp when the lvl 10s have the same amount of hp. sure she has more abilities but if they do the same amount of damage as her others it doesn't really matter. Plus she was using the same abilities throughout the game. its not like shes using every single one of them.

@gtenshi Eumm... do you have a clue about how swtor pvp works? All get almost the same hp and dmg, for example on my IA my max crit on mobs are 600. (lvl 12) And in a Warzone 3.3k.

@gtenshi yeah high level sages and sorcs are OP in PvP at the moment because theyre shields take a shit ton of damage + their heals heal them for like 70% of their HP but thatll be fine when everyones the same level , just at the moment even with the scaling for other classes theyre OP in the warzones against low levels

Ok so you played great in this vid, but you did "only" 172k damage. On my first warzone on level 10-12 bounty hunter, I was first in damage done, dealing 189k dmg. Don't you think BH damage is totally op? I also had lvl 27 sith warrior, and he was totally no match to hunter in terms of damage and medals awarded in the end of the warzones.

@komorpoland damage is relative. "only" 172k damage when it's double everyone elses, my team easily wins the game, I get a ridiculous amount of kills and the game only lasts for ~9-10 minutes is far better than 189k damage in whatever situation you were in.
