i've been watching these videos for a while now, i'm constantly impressed. i used to make bows out of sticks when i was a kid, just by shaping a branch i was always amazed at how much power i could get out, then i tried to make a slingshot out of and old branch shaped lie a "Y" and it snapped, been afraid of trying to make slingshots since, but i want to give it a go now, with actual good materials.

This is the kind of thing I wish I'd have thought of myself. I often wonder how repeating weapons worked centuries ago, we see them now as clunky unwieldy and pretty useless. I know we won't see people carrying this around but look at the simplicity and it's easy to imagine it smaller and stronger, maybe some type cocking mechanism as well. We're lucky there wasn't surgical rubber centuries ago.
