THese guys talk so much as though they are putting out a revolutionary and innovative automobile but yet the 2010 LaCrosse is based on Lexus and BMW aesthetics.
No, dealers haven't taken delivery yet. I don't think production will high enough until July. I can't wait, though. I'm 32 and cross-shopping this with the 2010 Taurus. If you would have told me that I'd be doing this 10 years ago, I would have called you nuts. But LaCrosse is very eye-catching and I've got to lay hands on that interior. Unsure why they didn't give the DI3.6 the full power, tho...
I think it kindaa does look like Jag XF on the outside. The only thing I don;t like about the JAg is it's dial for the transmission. I prefer the old fashioned stick (manual or auto)
lol @ the 60+ crowd not being able to tell cars apart these days. It's a good thing this car was designed for my 30-something family with 1 child in mind vice the folks wanting it "the way it used to be." I say "well done, GM & Buick.
I really think this will be a great car. The opel insignia, which shares the same Epsilon II platform, has been a success in Europe (car of the year 2009!!). So in many ways this car is german engineered, with the styling done by GM NorthAmerica.
First the 2008 cts and now this buick. Both are now much better than lexus et al. Im only left wondering why gm didnt make these improvments any sooner.
No kidding it's not the old buick of the old days. It's just another cookie cutter car that looks no different from any of the other cars made today. Remember when you could tell the make and model of a car coming down your road? Now you need to see the emblem on the car to tell what it is. That's why emblems are getting bigger and bigger on the new cars.
getting better with the history (sweep spear from late 60s, big grill reminiscent of 50s) but still a boring looking car. id love to see real style like 1959 come back into play
this is a opel insignia

Give us a long wheel base version. Just add 8 or 10 inches between the front and rear doors. Rear seat legroom would go a long way.
The family limo. Where do I sign?

Of all of the colors I've seen this car wearing, the red is by far the worse. White and black are gorgeous. Bravo.

@phoulplae They have given it the DI 3.6. It's on one in a showroom at the dealer I deal with. And it is a gorgeous car.

Has anyone seen one at a dealership yet? The dealers in my area are still waiting for delivery. I'm in a suburb NE of Philadelphia, PA.

Would the input jack be located near the cup holder area ?

Dunno why people say this looks like the Jaguar XF.
It doesn't. Neither does the Ford Taurus.

Hope they make a Super version of this too! What an awesome sedan. It might replace my 2004 TL.

looks really similar to the Lexus LS460. nice.
chineseXmethXdragon 3 years ago
Why would you constitute this as an "asian" design? Its a great car and it has plenty of things that keep with the Buick ideology.
