  • RRHF is a joke, just look at some of the losers that are in then take a look at who is not. Heart carried the 80s for R/R, another snub is Chicago and too many others to name. Just political nonsense and butt smooching, that's why nobody really cares who is in and who isn't anymore.

  • Never in rock history has two sisters come on stage with such manificent energy and I seriously doubt that it will ever happen again...they are truly just the best ever.

  • Look at that sassyness. And warranted sass too, because Ann can belt it out. What a great decade for rock music!

  • It would be fine with me to have had Ann to take me backstage and just have her comin straight on for me! mmmmmmmmmmmmm I love this woman!

  • I hope they go straight on into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. How could they not be in.

  • @1tubedout

There's not a whole lot that really, really pisses me off, but the fact that they are not in the rock 'n roll hof sure is one thing....beyond utterly ridiculous.

  • Thanks for posting this!!!! This is my favorite version of this song! They look great and sound great! Sexism is the only thing that keeps them out of the RocknRoll Hall of Fame!

  • @caspian1717 You're welcome :)

  • @caspian1717 Right?! Dig the way they sing it. "Nownownow" "That's right now"

  • @caspian1717 100% right, long overdue for the hall of fame! I am not sure but I do not think Stevie ray vaughn is in either

  • Man, they had it all back then, the hot looks, great voices, and great music!!!

  • GTA IV WOOO

  • I was just watching all their newer live performances, then going back to this HOTDAMN, she was a firecracker back then!

  • that's all you need.A little 70's everything and all is good.God ....send these gals to me.

  • ann and nancy totally rock!!!!!!

  • Saw them in the 70's in Seattle. Such memories

  • Saw these gals live in Fayettville, NC back in 1983 when I was stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC. It was during their period of spandex and big hair, and Eddie Money was their opening act on that particular tour. But even with the big hair, the skin tight close, and the thick makeup, these chicks rocked their asses off!!! Love Heart!!

  • I love Heart, but they have never been respected by the Rock and Roll establishment because they are female rockers! I hope they are nominated again to the R&RHOF and actually get in next year!

  • Ann sings like an angel.

  • @jettablak she sings like one but she is one too!

  • Thumbs up if Alex Jones brought you here.

  • @MrNePiS How'd he do that?

  • Never knew Ann could be so funky, foxy and ultimately sexy until I saw this video. Wow, What intensity! Love that strut.

  • @DonChochaguano ...don, you're an idiot!

  • @DonChochaguano not sure if trolling, or just stupid.

  • I was 24 and lovin and livin great times to bad yu can't go back at the time didn't realize how short life really is try tellin my kids that.

  • wow anns well im a girls so pretty

  • donna summer will go to ROCK AND ROLL hall of fame ON FIRST BALLOT ROCK HALL IS A BULLSHIT JOKE , I GOT MY OWN HALL

  • This is exactly what I love about You Tube..to watch videos like this gem...wow, I'm in heaven...awesome...

  • I'll have to check that 1 out! The Sonics are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @NewShimmer YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!! SHHHWWWING!! LOL!! Lets build OUR OWN building & PUT ppl there that RIGHTFULLY DESERVE TO BE THERE!Sorry bout the CaPZZ my fellow Heart Monger..LOL,BUT Caps is WHAT ANGER IS FOR!! LOL If you ask ME..The 1st band that EVER existed there was "LZ"..Then "Heart",then "IGGY",then "The Ramones",then,The Sonics",13th Floor Elevators (where are they)???HEART did a cover of THE SONICS"The Witch".Where are THE SONICS in TRRHOF)R they there?

  • I wonder why the 70's singers where better than todays?

    Maybe the drugs where better..

  • @cjs0071 Back then talent and hard work were usually requisite for the job.

  • This is there best song!

  • Heart were amazing..Ann and Nancy Wilson her voice was built for Rock & Roll..Thanks for the great music..It was great growing up listing to your great music Magic Man Little Queen Straight On ect ect ect..Which is part of the sound track of my life..Jeffrey Dean Goldstein..:0)

  • Great song! One of my favorite Heart songs along with "Tell it like it is"..

  • Ann kicked major ass

  • @Endisnigh666 Ann still does kick ass.

  • All is in the ears and the eyes but good always remains good.. BS Hall of Fame cannot deal with all who should be in it.

  • They are Hall of Famers in my mind. They were the first successful female band, where one sister is the lead singer and the other rocks it with a guitar. Greatness seen in this video!!!

  • I was in High School in 1978, and I'm telling you there wasn't one boy in my school that was NOT in LOVE with Ann & Nancy Wilson.

  • @jarden69 Now those are celebrity teenage crushes to have had!

  • Hot!!! Talk about in your face!!!

  • WHEN ROCK AND ROLL HAD HEART-THE WILSON SISTERS AND THE FISHER BROTHERS................HELL YES ITS HOLY MUSIC

  • MY FAV HEART SONG!! THESE CHICKS ROCK!

  • I saw them in 1978 at Alpine Valley theatre, I was about 14, they were awesome. I ran out and bought the album the next day and played it till my mom was sick of hearing it.

  • Ann has perfect pitch. This is a seriously tight performance!

  • My favorite good time rock and roll tune of ALL TIME!!!!!!!

    YEAH HAHA!!!!

  • Right on, Rodney - or should I say "straight on".

  • They certainly meet the fans criteria to be in the RRHF. They are still together, their music is timeless, they spanned over 3 decades, 70's, 80's and 90's recording and releasing new music and they are still performing now into their 5th decade. They should be inducted based on popularity and uniqueness...is there another "girl band" with those qualifications in any genre of music?

  • @50kjh There aren't many bands with their quality, period. Nevermind girl bands.

  • @Droogie128 Truth. They aren't a "girl band" anyway.

  • @50kjh nope, there's not

  • Look, look, they're on the R&R Hall's list "nominee for 2012 induction" !

    At last!!!

  • @berre30 unfortunately you are wrong. They are not on the list nor elected. A great injustice. One of the great bands ever and Ann had power and soul to match Janis. Hope one day justice will be done.

  • @tulkas1100 Actually, if you enter R&R Hall of Fame official website, they were on the list for the 2012 nominees for induction. Sadly, they weren't inducted.

  • @Haylie2610 I stand corrected, but not happy they are not in! Terrible injustice. Thanks for uploading the music.

  • The people who make the negative comments about good music are Justin Beiber fans...in other words...people who like girls with no talent. I weasn't even born when this song came out, but I love REAL MUSIC.

  • True musicians shining. Lovely, unique voices and guitar playing that is REAL and not just electronic bullshit. How far we've fallen in our ability to recognize and enjoy anything that isn't fake or just a facade. Where's the Wizard of Oz when we need him to give millions upon millions a real brain? Wouldn't solve the problem, any way. What me worry? So what if I can't even speak/think/act like a human-being with any sense or intelligence. It hurts too much. Can YOU sing as well as Ann?

  • Makes me proud to be a Seattle Native. Ann and Nancy know how to rock! And they're pretty too! And they never sold out and moved to hideous figuratively and literally LA.

  • @LTBiermacht still hot... not as

  • Roger is looking at Nancy at the end with eyes that can bore through her and Nancy spikes the last few chords as if to say- piss off.

  • @heart401000 Yeah, somehow I'm pretty sure that's not what went on there. Nancy's just doing her "tough chick" routine.

  • Top of their game here!!! flawless

  • sakumaapl711 is gay.

  • Mmmmmmmmmm, Annnnnnnnn. So sexy.

  • real music song gives me goosebumbs when im cruising

  • I love the way Ann looks at Nancy when she's singing the chorus, she's totally jamming!!! love her

  • HEART==Always a double treat.

  • you all ought to here gretchen wilson sing this omg she sound's just like ann for real and serious omg.

  • Best live version I've seen on You Tube. Much more accurate in terms of vocals and instrumentation. Thanks.

  • They are so good, if we could only go back and do it all again, wouldn't that be a kick in the ass, Ann and Nancy have lived an amazing life, they were really the first women of rock, and top it all off by living in Seattle and becoming good friends with all the rock gods, like my hero Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains. how would it be ?

  • @gooniegoogoo62 Well said. They made history and I loved their music for years....there is no mistaking Ann Wilson's voice for power, range and dynamics. No artificial electronic enhancement here....just raw talent. What Nancy does not have in her voice, she makes up with her guitar playing....she can rock with the best of them. Two history making women in the Rock and Roll arena and not in the Hall of Fame just does not make sense.

  • @MusicLover1701 100% right on, I only wish that all of us music fans had any say on whether Heart gets into the Hall of Fame, because if that was the case, they would be there right now, the powers need to pull their head out, I don't know how they decide who gets inducted, but I don't think it's logical, I mean Steely Dan got in there, Before Heart? what's up with that? I'm not dogging Steely Dan, they were great in their own way, but not better than Ann and Nancy Wilson, only time will tell.

  • Why is this band not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

  • @NewShimmer They are too good for the rock n roll hall of fame.

  • @1971SuperLead Damn right in my opinion!! Finally, somebody who actually has their ears (especially) open when they listen to these videos. Maybe I just missed it somehow, but wasn't music something to LISTEN to with our ears?? Nah, guess not, judging by an amazing number of comments.

  • @1971SuperLead The hall of shame should beg forgiveness from the Two True Divine Sisters of Rock!

  • @NewShimmer They should be for sure!

  • @NewShimmer because the Hall of Fame is BULLSHIT

  • @luismelhernandez1974 The Rock and Roll HOF you mean? The same one that Madonna is in? since when is Madonna Rock? The R&R HOF is a total joke.

  • @65SteveC don't forget that Heart began to play rock n roll.

  • @nadjayudahlena My point was that the HOF is a joke because people like Madonna are in while real Rock groups like Heart aren't.

  • @NewShimmer BECAUSE THEY'RE WOMEN D;

  • @NewShimmer Because the R&R HOF is a big JOKE! I totally agree with you. They should have been there years ago!

  • @NewShimmer They are afraid of Chicks that Rock Harder than guys... Joanie Mitchel is as hard as they'll get

  • @NewShimmer now i think they have a ballot now along with joan jett. ALLL FEEEEMALES IN ROCK DESERVE TO BE THERE~

  • @NewShimmer They are up for it this year, so it is possible.

  • @NewShimmer they will be relax they have been honored, just don't know exact date..

  • ann still loves to flaunt her huge boobs!!

  • Great Fucking Chorus!! nice job!!!!- GB

  • There will never be girls like the Wilson girls , theyve been covererd by countless bar bands over the last 35 yrs...

  • That is one sexy ass chick!!!

  • @sonnyblack71 Damn! No kiddin man.....Whew!!!

  • @sonnyblack71 Anyone who doesn't think that the Wilsons are the height of beauty and sexuality isn't human. There I said it.

  • My favorite Heart video. The Wilsons' hair blowing and the faces they make. Don't get me started on the vocal harmonies. "I knocked down the wailin' wall." Yeah, and you angels knocked me down too. My favorite except for maybe "Rockin' Heaven Down." "Rock me home. Rock me ho-o-ome. Rock me home."

  • If I had a time machine....

  • sexsay

  • Why couldnt they stay this sexy :/

  • Sexy for sure.

  • i like her dance at the end :D

  • Great song. They were at their best here both vocally and looks. Hot as hell. Ann was smoking hot and Nancy a doll . Saw them in concert last week and they were still great. Go see them if u get chance.

  • Anne Wilson does for me what Chris Cornell does for women. Damn.

  • Goin in four days to see them in Halifax! 2nd row! Cannot wait! Still as sexy as ever ladies :)

  • ann's the best thing ever!!!

  • Ann is unbeatable!!

  • Great Song! Love ya Ann! :)

  • Anne is and always will be a class act

  • Ann was born to sing...to me!!! Holy crow..that woman can sing!!!!

  • Pretty singer. Power vocals. Funky groove.

  • i saw them at the Yale Bowl in New Haven CT maybe 1980? was so long ago i was right up to the stage in Anns feet, was the best!

  • epic (Y)

  • she looks hotter with straight hair

  • @typoded Yup

  • @typoded Yeah, Ann looks slightly better with straight hair. It's the opposite for Nancy.

  • So sexy.

  • Anyone know where this concert was? Theres a few great vids from this show. I have front row centre for the concert in Halifax in Feb, cant wait! Best female rockers ever!

  • @CoryCorano A poster on one of the videos swears he was at this exact concert, and that it was performed at the CNE Grandstand Toronto in '78. A quick look through the CNE history states Heart played there Aug 23, 1978, and they didn't return until 1982. Heart's website has D&B release date of Oct/7/78, so they either toured before the album was released or I am still lost as to what concert this was.

  • @TheWhalerfan Its not unusual for a band to start a tour before the album is released. Heart was supposed to play here in Atlanta for the D&B tour in August 1978 but the concert had to be cancelled because someone accidentally cut the power cables to the Omni Coliseum. They had to reschedule the concert for Nov. I clearly remember that because I didnt initially have a ride to the show in Aug. I had given up on going then they announced it on the news about what happened. Miracles do happen! :)

  • @SiberianMan2u Ok, that makes sense then. Man I would give my left, uh..anything to have seen them in the late 70's. They are rolling back through Canada soon (finally..it has been a long time..) and I have tickets for Feb 18th..better late than never.

  • @TheWhalerfan You're going to have a great time. I saw them in 2009 and they sounded fantastic.

  • They were so hot.

  • I love you Ann...that's right man.

  • wonderful tantalizing voice!!

  • wonderful tantalizing voice

  • What happened to Ann? She was so sexy then. Now she is almost unrecognizable. She has gained I would guess 100 pounds! Too bad. I hope she can get whatever bothers her under control. She has been one of our greatest female rock singers!

  • @ChaoticEuphoria Ann eventually lost her battle with genetics.

  • @ChaoticEuphoria : Ann Wilson inherited that `fat gene` from someone in her family according to her mother. She struggled all her life to keep off the weight. It`s not from over eating. Her metabolism doesn`t burn calories well. She looked great in the 1978-1983 era but lost the battle after that. Good thing for us she never lost that golden voice....

  • Uggggggggggggggggh I love this song

  • one word..class!

  • The played at the Puyallup Fair! Older, but still very hot.

  • at 4;12..that's a studio guitar strung with high A or it's at the 22 fret which is damn near & all but impossible to play

  • mann she has an amazing voice....it never sieze to amaze me everytime I hear her singing.

  • Thanks Haylie for this AMAZING video!! I saw them in concert about that time in NY and it was incredible.....This is the absolute BEST version I've heard or seen of this song!

  • @retrolady1 Well thanks to you for watching and enjoying good music as much as I do! I think I was born in the wrong decade... I'm 19 years old, therefore, I didn't get to see them like this. :(

  • Saw these lovely ladies perform this less than a month ago in Nashville. They are as great as ever. They rocked the house!!

  • One of the most energetic and memorable songs of all time.

  • Yet again, Heart makes their live version even better than the album.

  • yes!! two powerful women

  • I feel like if I listen without watching these sisters strut, I'm missing half the song!

  • What a great look for Nancy. Ann looks beautiful here too, of course, but better with straight hair.

  • This tune is in my top 3 all time FAVORITES....second thought...#one

  • NICE

  • Talking about hot, ANN is super HOT! And the voice is AWESOME!

  • @Prudentone1

she was hottt and sexy back then, that's why some guy married her right away when he met her. Lucky guy broke her virginity.

  • omg nancy was fuckin hot so was anne wooooow love HEART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cant get enough of these sisters

  • ANN the first prinses of rock and roll.

  • One of my top 3 R&R tunes of ALL TIME...don't know what the other two are.

  • What the winner don't know, the gambler understand!

    I love her!

  • I would do Ann in a "Heart" Beat she rocks my world and such a great female rocker. As good or better than any male band they were awesome!

  • been singing this song all day!

  • Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?? If not Shame On, Shame On YOUUUUUU

  • I would say that they are elves rather than humans.

  • Listen to the words...of course. Heart doesn't need to "sell" anything. The music is universal.

  • H o o o . . . the best !

  • Not only are these sisters amazingly talented, but their fashion sense is ahead of OUR time!
