your not supposed to extract it directly to game\

your supposed to extract it to a certain file in the game which is normally pointed out in the read me but also this video is a bit outdated if trying to do it for l4d2 then i dunno and there is a much simpler way for custom maps with the vpk thing

im sorry but i just chose one randomly and never even tryed the map... i looked a bit and i think the name is highway but either it was taken out or the name was changed. the closest i found to that was highway to hell wich is supposed to be good...sorry

well if u want the console commands

you will need to go into options then go into keyboard/mouse and were it says allow developer console

enabled it & i don't know if u can use it online but play in single player & hit the button what under Esc

it normally gives you a notififcation that it wasnt able to download but it should normally work anyway
