I think it's a B side off the "Love is an arrow" single (rel. 14 February 2005, UK #60), available on Amazon MP3 (79p), other download sites are available!
@neonlightsmike My Dad grew up just round the corner in Vulcan Street,in Springburn.Where Tom Weir stayed,he used to drink with his brother.Tams sister was quite a famous actress, did kids shows to.Where she played a witch for years.I used to love sitting up at night, watching Weirs way when it was on.It was a total cult classic.Loved bye boozers and toakers from all around the country. No other history or nature show about Scotland, has came close to topping that show,it was a geniune one off.
The first i'd heard of it was after the same show - I'm a fan of Tom so had to source this track. There's a wee 'Tom Weir Rocks' group on yon Facebook felly as well.
<sober now> Correct, not Glaswegian, more of a teuchter, perhaps I dont get it, I assume it was my representation of the word "weegie" rather than the word itself you found insulting? What image says "weegie" to you?
It was your image I found insulting. There are many famous Glaswegians you could have picked. You could have even has picked the man himself - Tom Weir. Anybody other than Lulu would have done me.
But that wouldn't have been funny, it had to be a stereotype, and like it or not the Buckfast swilling youth is a Glasgow (or Lananrkshire) stereotype. But just as every teuchter does not wear a kilt, I recognise that Glasgow is not like that and is a cultured and friendly place.
Don't worry my friend, I'm from Glasgow and know where you're coming from/understand the stereotype. Some people just gotta chill, haha. Peace and love to all:)

I've got that on HDD from last week, will definately watch it now.

Here's a nice piece of trivia. The producer (or director) is the brother of a teacher in my old high school.
The humour is decidedly Scottish. You'll love it.

Was funny until the Weegie joke. An insult to Tom Weir, a proud Glaswegian.

I'm sorry you found that offensive, grow a sense of humour.

Oh dear re1d, you don't get it do you!! You really don't get it. I'm guessing that you are not from Glasgow.
