@KINGDINGALICIOUS Kicker makes subs designed for SPL but JL designs their subs for more quality. So pretty much Kickers hit a lot harder than JL but do lack some quality. Whoever says one is way better than the other needs to learn car audio and not make such unreasonable biased opinions.

@MrChrisallen34 The size of the subwoofer has little to no indication of how low it can play efficiently. That is more reliant on your enclosure. I could take a pair of 8"s and get them to play 30Hz in a lower tuned enclosure louder than a pair of 15"s in a higher tuned enclosure. It's all in the application man.

@MrChrisallen34 dude, the song 6ft 7ft would work on any sub, its not made for a certain type or size, and no. its not to high for a 15 to hit, me and my friend both have 15's he has a 15 inch L7 and i have a 15 CVX essentially the same sub, both have the same motor, both do the same amount of rms, the only difference is that one is a square. the only reason you wouldnt be hitting the high's are because your box is tuned low, sorry but your wrong

@badazzdonatto well it all depends on how much ur looking to spend and if u have some batterys to back up ur system. i would probably do like 2 powerbass 1500.1 or do one powerbass 4000 or something i have a powerbass 1500.1 on my kickers and im killin em. and the amp doesnt draw a lot of voltage. ive had a kenwood a jl audio and fosgate amp and the powerbass i go on these is the best ive had. but id probably say like a 4000 watt powerbass.

@badazzdonatto its only one amp and its a powerbass 1500.1 im running at one ohm and it has never clipped or done anything wrong. its the best amp i have ever owned. but i do have a kicker 300.4 running my mids and highs.

@moddingpc i built the box for what each sub requires in a ported box. which i cant remember reight offf the top of my head because that was a almost 6 months ago. but id say its tuned right around 40 hertz.

and the amp is a powerbass 1500.1 and it drives the subs like crazy. im going to be getting another 1500.1 and 2 more 15's soon and building a new box where all 4 15's are going to be facing forwards. its going to be sick. (this truck is my dad and mine project im only 17)
