  • the coolermaster is pretty much essential if you want to build a gaming rig.

  • Kinda sad its just a reupload and nothing new

  • kama cabinet...

  • my schematic for an upcoming build is missing something in the last 5.25....i think am going OCD but i need something to fill it its 0430 and am still looking

  • thicker fan blades=more air can be moved with lover RPM'S

  • @arttukunelius lover rpms? makes sense

  • Posted a comment 5 months ago, I have no idea why I typed that...

  • i want those damn foot pedals for games that would be sweet

  • I thought the thicker fans were only made for radiators, to sustain more stress..wouldn't use it for anything else but that personally

  • You have to wonder how much money is in that room, on that table???? /snatches all that stuff :)

  • Thick fan is for more air flow at lower RPM. I'd still go for the 200 mm. :)

  • I'd like to see a review of various fans and rate them according to painless, ouch, that's gonna leave a mark, blood flow rate and now I can only count to 9.

It's funny they left the finger part in the fan in the final edit.

  • well done comment below as well the thicker fan, each fan blade has more surface area and produced more static air pressure i believe

  • Paul, with a thicker housing you can have more angled blades. Optimally you want 45 degree angled blades (of course compensating for the curvature) so you have the most amount of air moving into the case. Since the housing of the fan is thicker the blades can be angled more so hence can move more air with less noise and a smaller diameter fan. Essentially, assuming that this fan uses 35 degree curvature versus a 15 degree curvature of a regular 120 mm fan you have about 2 times the effectiveness

  • @Chawwwwwley This is a very good explanation thank you, though my question to the company would be, why not advertise it in that way as opposed to the way they have? Just saying that the fan is "extra thick" is not a very attractive way to advertise in this particular case (pun not intended), most people buying for their computers want to know what they are getting for their money. When I first saw these my thought was a simple "Why?" which is not the reaction most companies want.

  • Holy shet, who uses that 320mm fan?!

  • @LtSurge659 Wtf are you talking about? He showed a 200, and said there are 230. 320 never came up...

  • @Roland0314

    Alright! That 200mm one then!

  • @LtSurge659 A lot of cases (full tower) use 200mm fans in the side or front.

  • @LtSurge659 I have two 320mm fans, one for intake and one for exhaust. On the negative side, my cat got sucked clean through my computer case. On the positive side, my shoes haven't been puked in since then.

  • 1:48

  • wai is there no fan controller section on new egg paul??? i am dissapoint

  • @NewEggKid when i do this someone just spams me sauin no i wont

  • dude wtf i really wanted that Scythe "Slot Rafter" but its deactivated

  • It is for higher static pressure so you can push through high fins per inch radiators.

  • For higher air flow for water cooling.

  • 1:40 for the most useless piece of shit scamware anyone can buy for their PC.....Wow

  • @XSilvenX not if you want to store flash drives and things like that so animals cant get them

  • I so wanna work for NewEgg when I get older.

  • I only get products from Newegg and Razer. I'm only 13 but damn I love them!

  • hey i was watching the how to video on building a computer. i was wondering if you had a link to cable you to convert the usb 3.0 to the 19 pin header on the motherboard

  • damn the drawer thing is out of stock, needed one of those:(

  • You'll want a thicker fan to compensate for the size of your ...

  • Newegg should carry more watercooling gear. Especially the high performance ones. They'd make a lot of money

  • @ItsBubbs I hear ya... I have to wake up in 5 hours. :-/

  • Why would you want a thicker penis? EXACTLY.

  • Paul is so Funny

  • Squeak 1:49

  • hw do you open the draw the was no handel :)

  • 9:25 anyone else notice the sign at the bottom said 200 mm and he said 140mm fan with it was

  • 1:48 what the fuck.

  • thick fan = less sound ?, and more airflow

  • they clearly like scythe XD

  • your against the thick fan yet advocate the use of that 120 fan??? WTF

  • wow!!!, if you are some one who loves to unbox things like me, then this is the perfect job. :))

  • Lightsabers!!!!

  • this was nice. I enjoyed this.

  • thicker fan = more air flow, thinner fan = less air flow

  • I loved that ending haha creative way to cool off

  • Learn somethng new everyday.

  • Would love a double 3.5" drawer...I have two 3.5" bays, with no covers (Antec case, discontinued) and would like to turn them into storage.

  • the lights look like lightsabers XD

  • Paul is my homeboy

  • lol the fan got his finger

  • Haha, nice job grabbing the fan after turning it up to max speed. :p

    Great video, by the way~!

  • Great video. More accessory videos would be super neat.

  • No cupholder?

  • Thicker fan has thicker blades so it also moves more air than a thinner fan turning at the same speed.

  • The reason for the extra thickness on the 120mm fan is airflow. The extra room in the fan housing allows the fan blades to be warped at an angle that will increase airflow.

  • Me again, what monitor is tht?

  • hi Newegg, I am going to build a gaming rig for the first time. I have been researching online, in stores, your website, forums, reviews, etc. and I still can not find the right power suply for my build :( i really need help...

  • @stevenajpvv what gpu you gunna run?

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperGorgasm two of these SLI:

EVGA GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) Black Ops Edition 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

  • @stevenajpvv try an antec true power 650w.

  • @zulok1337 kk, thanks

  • @stevenajpvv was it perfect for your build? :)

  • @zulok1337 yes!

  • I got the kaze master pro 3,5" in my cm 690 just because it was cheap.. I really like it.. but ofc because it sends watts to your fans when multi plugged in the average is like 50 rpm slower but idm

  • In 10 years from now the best way to secure your data files would be to put it on a floppy. :P

  • What case out of all of them do you recommend

  • Comment removed

  • For my next build im going to Get a HAF X and make it a small night stand with the bay drawer attachments I foresee this is the future of computing

  • thicker=more static pressure=good for dens heatsinks

  • I would like to see an HDD Accessory video, a video dedicated to all the HDD accessories you can think of, like backplanes (a lot more in-depth than what you did here), external/internal enclosures, RAID add-on cards, 3.5" HDD bay accessories (HDD fans) and etc. You may even want to showcase some HDDs in different RAID arrays and then benchmark them showing us users the advantages to different raid configurations.

  • I'm Probably going to by that External Drive bay Drawer. I've got some USB Cables and what Not I'd like to put in there.

  • i thought wider fans have the blades more turned in so they move more air with better efficiency

  • The scythe fan control can be used as power hub for all fans? Any extensions for fan wires?

  • the thicer fans are great for use with watercooling

  • do i need any accessories to the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus cpu fan?

  • You shoulda showcased the Thermaltake iBox, awesome product. :)

  • nice display of things that are available in the market. btw how come no thermaltake products??

  • Whoah! that is so cool i never new you could have so many cool items on your computer!

  • Comment removed

  • 9:25 Type-o 200mm instead of 140 mm. But I still like to watch these videos.

  • You only have a few items linked on the page (on newegg) that you spoke about. What kind of marketing job is that. Took me 5 minutes to type in all the missing items I wanted to see.

Also the NZXT is not an outside (on the desktop item) as you showed it. It's a huge dual slot inside front bay mounted fan controller / display. Just FYI.

  • @Bdubslawman The NZXT sits on your desk its not a drive bay fan controller.

  • thicker fan is better because it increese the size of the wings (and the volume between 2 wings) and than for in will increese the air flow so you can slow the fan

  • Great video but wanted to know a little more about a few of the items is all. What the hell is the usb thing petal think do. I did not get that when he was talking about.

  • @csdesign73

Hi, any item in particular? We can take a look into it.

  • @csdesign73

Im pretty sure its for extra buttons, like a programmable mouse. For mostly gaming.

  • @csdesign73 the usb thing for you foot is like the extra buttons on a mouse. you can add a macro to it just like you would for an extra button to a mouse.

  • @csdesign73

It's basically a keyboard on the ground with 3 BIG buttons(petals) that you can assign any key stroke combination to each button.

  • @csdesign73 they are basically macros

  • @csdesign73 If you wanted to, you could assign Ctrl+C & Ctrl+P to those pedals, making them quick Copy/Paste buttons. Or assign a pedal as Ctrl+Alt+Del as an emergency pedal should you need to.

  • @csdesign73

its like a key shortcut. you program a key stroke for each pedal with the software provided. most likely used in gaming or editing videos/photos

  • I'm not sure if someone has already answered this already, but the reason why there are thicker fans, ex. Scythe Ultra Kaze, is because they tend to have a higher static pressure compared to the thinner ones. Static pressure in my knowledge is only important when you get into liquid cooling and you have a radiator with tightly packed fins. A low static pressure fan with high CFM will lose a lot of airflow by the time it reaches the other end, and thats where a high static pressure fan is needed.

  • A F*CKING DRAWER??? WHO NEEDS TO PUT IT IN A CASE?

  • @099psp I'd imagine it would be very convenient to have all the screws/tools you need to do maintenance on your computer right there. I know I would

  • @baxter600 lol ill get my toolbox beside it instead of putting a drawer in my gaming rig...

  • I wonder how many people saw the little thing at the end hahaha

  • Cool Accessories....

  • This video was very entertaining to watch keep it up =D!

  • Thermaltake has a 5.25" bay cup holder; it's a shame to not see that listed on here.

  • You guys are doing so much better with editing! It's great to see the improvement.

Maybe do something to give your background some reference, it's boring and kinda tiring to look into a white void filled with nothing but nerds and computer parts. ^_^

  • This vid was cool, but wuts a floppy?

  • @NuLLx42 The opposite of a hard-on.

  • @bluhammer Thats not a soft-off?

  • @NuLLx42 lol b4 ur time ;)

  • @BRANDON85L

    oh ok, but whats "time"?

  • @NuLLx42 An old way of storing media that could only hold like 1.5mb of data.

  • @ksidornseif

    GO ON

  • @NuLLx42 ur right i dont think anyone uses floppy disks anymore.

  • @NuLLx42

    Don't copy it.

  • @NuLLx42 A floppy is what we used to use as a CD. It is very uncommon today because of them. It was used to hold programs for installation or anything you would use a CD for today.

  • @NuLLx42 Whats a floppy? I don't even know what to say to that.. What are you 5 years old or something?

  • @razorbackblood06 - Hey, there's these newfangled things called jokes, maybe you should look into them.

  • @elegancewasmurdered Its cool that you choose my response to his comment over the other 5 that replied to his comment. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside! (sarcasm)

  • @razorbackblood06 /topic

  • @razorbackblood06 I think he was joking.... cuz nobody really use floppy anymore lol

  • @ottam3309 Yeah, but if you can have it combined with a bunch of card readers, why not? It's just more compatibility at no extra cost to space.

  • i run out of room on a full tower case.

i would've thought the antec 1200 was large enough

  • Thick fans; what does it mean?

  • I like noctua

  • scythe, also by scythe, guess who this next item is made by, ITS SCYTHE! lol Good video interesting stuff.

  • the thicker fan is meant to give you a higher static pressure. it makes more air pressure and lets you move more air through a radiator for a liquid cooling setup.

  • I'm header-o-sexual.

  • Is bigger the fan = quiet? (such as 200m)

  • @UNnamed66 Yes. And they work better, too.

  • @UNnamed66 Yes

  • @UNnamed66 As with all fans sound is relative to speed. The reason why larger fans are typically quieter is because they can spin at lower speeds to move equal or more amounts of air than a smaller fan.

  • I want to work here.

  • This video is pretty boring.

I know what a case fan is.

  • A thicker fan will allow the fan blades to have more bite, and thus pushing a higher volume of air for the same size and overall noise level.

  • sythe promotion video... smh

  • at 9:25 he says 140mm but at the bottom it says 200mm.

  • I want to apply to work for Newegg. My channel is my resume. lol

  • I've always heard them called "expansion bays" versus "PCI bays" especially considering sweet, sweet AGP. xD

  • are you kidding?

blue leds make your pc cooler

Green leds makes your pc radiactive

and red leds makes your pc go faster

  • @EddieLolz3r i want Orange... xD all of my accessories from logitech (pretty much everything i have) glow orange... so i want orange in mine, what do they do?

  • @sorathekinglolz

I think they make they more sturdy, so they can last longer

  • @EddieLolz3r best comment ever! Seriously!

  • @EddieLolz3r Lold.

  • Paul looks like he's in his element with all those bits of kit.

  • Look that dude, he loves this job :D

I can see the contentment on his face plane as day

  • @MisterFIXXX i would love his job

  • I love the ending XD

  • -GASP- WTF newegg! Not 1080p?!

  • <3 Newegg

  • This stuff is so boring. Please instead, make a video about how I can rice out my case with those unused 5.25" bays!!

  • <3 Newegg!!!

  • you want ultra kazes because they fucking rock and are really cheap! loud, but that's what speedfan is for.

  • Theres a mistake at 9:25, the label says its the 200mm fan when its the 140 thought to let you guys know :)

  • Newegg is by far the best company and made my first build by a 12 year old go flawless. Thanks. good and thorough videos man.

  • ultra kaze's rock! I wanted to simulate a lawnmower. So I purchase the scythe ultra kazes! no but really work well with a fan controller.

  • Why don't you guys carry LED strips!?!?!?!

  • Those USB foot switches are what WoW gamers would use...

  • Nooby Paul doesn't know that 38mm thick fans have higher static pressure than 25mm thick fans :)

  • Epic ending!

  • I love watching these videos

  • Thicker fan, larger motor.

Lets see those Scythe 15mm fans do the insanely high RPMs as the 35mm Deltas. :P

  • lol yeah all this sounds fun, but im not ripping my 2 gtx 460 to put the extra coolers on but the lights i might add if they have a green one, it go nicely with the cards to show them off,

    14:58 your fan fell, xD

  • some of those are quite handy

  • @KittyKittyBoy17 yea i know but i want it in a 3.5inch form

  • can someone make a 3.5 inch bay refrigerator for beer or soda

  • @sbvikings30 i meant 5 and a quarter

  • @sbvikings30 that's a great idea!!

but only problem is, where is all the heated air going to go? out the front? there is also the chance of condensation inside the case = total failure.

  • I wish you divided this video into parts in order to show each product a little longer. Really cool addons.

  • Paul = new Logan! Keep the reviews up Paul, don't quit and be replaced by some retard please!
