You know, I was born muslim, raised christian, and brought back to Islam. @h201533 I beg to differ. Moreover, there's no Biblical references made to show Abraham knew of Allah. The last prophetic book is Revelation from the Bible. There are no others. Many have come after Christ to say they've the last book such as Mormons with their book of Mormon that states Joseph Smith was visited by angels or spiritual beings giving him scripture on gold plates. To me the Quran is an earlier version of such a thing. Muhammad is & has always been an unconfirmed prophet like smith.

Common people can be the children of God In Deeuteronomy 14:1 "Ye are the children of the Lord your God" Long before Jesus was born, God said to David (Psalm 2:7) "I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me [David] thou art my son, this day have i begotten thee." So David is also God's begotten son. The meaning Son of God is not literal but metaphorical. It can be anyone who is beloved by God.

You should not accept the word son so litterally. because many Prophets and we people are called in the Bible also, sons and children of God. Ex, Exodus 4:22. @lalag79 I argue because I obvisously don't believe that is true. I believe that their have been some changes and translations errors, but NOT enough to NOT be able to see God's plan through it. The Quran, however has a more accurate translation and doesn't share the same problem as the Bible, BUT none of it is God's Word accept for what is copied from the Bible.
The disciples witnessed Jesus' death & reserrection. Why would they risk their lives to share the gospel that ur suposed to believe?

By the way ajlapiana, i forgot to mention...when you said Allah translates into The God, Actually, I should say, the Word Allah, is a contraction of two words. Aliah. Which does mean, The God. But when you drop the I, you will find the word Allah. Which does translate into God. Forgiveness only comes through Jesus. Why should God forgive u when u chose to go to him ur way instead of His Way through Christ? Jesus said, I" am the Way, Truth and the Life." Do u think He lied? How will u escape the judgment of God if u neglect so great a salvation. God has sent u a boat to rescue u from drowning, but u turned it down, saying "I'm your sinful slave Allah rescue me!" Christians are monthestic.There is no confusion God is Spirit; God is Holy; He is The Holy Spirit; Jesus is God's Word; God's word was made flesh. Jesus & the Holy Spirit are NOT partners of God. They're different manifestations of 1 God. Muhammad didn't understand this. He taught that we have 3 gods of which Mary was 1. He was wrong, and that = a discrepancy in the Quran! @h201533 I beg to differ. Moreover, there's no Biblical references made to show Abraham knew of Allah. The last prophetic book is Revelation from the Bible. There are no others. Many have come after Christ to say they've the last book such as Mormons with their book of Mormon that states Joseph Smith was visited by angels or spiritual beings giving him scripture on gold plates. To me the Quran is an earlier version of such a thing. Muhammad is & has always been an unconfirmed prophet like smith.

We are only dealing with different translation of which none ever contradict that Jesus claims to be God's Son and that God claims Him as His Son or that Jesus is the only way to God. The devil is a liar and the father of it. He is the one that says the Bible is corrupted to keep souls from true salvation in Christ. @aizraaz U still don't understand. Adam is a creation of God; Jesus is NOT. He existed as long as Almighty God in the form of God's Word. The first Adam failed & sin with a curse entered the world, but the last Adam (Jesus) NEVER sinned. Through Him, righteousness entered the world, but only if we are hid in Christ. And as Prophet Jesus once said when a Jew came and insulted him, one of Jesus's followers told him,"Why do you reply back with kind words after he insulted you?"
