Mobile Suit Gundam: 08th MS Team. One of the best gundams, in my opinion...very realistic; some of the suits were actually redesigned to make them more realistic. And the main character is actually outclassed by most of the Zeon pilots. He gets his ass handed to him in about 8 seconds by his counterpart, Zeon ace Noland Richards (?).
