@K1LL4K Sure. Boxing is fighting, but only using a small part of your body. MMA style sports are fighting, but using much more- most - of the body. Therefore a fighter proficient at MMA would DESTROY a fighter who can only fight with his fists - a boxer.
Therefore all this hoopla about Ali or any boxer being superman is bullshit IMHO. Those guys were tougher than the average guy, sure, but they were not good FIGHTERS, just good boxers.

Someone like rampage would get destroyed by Ali because rampage doesn't have the speed or footwork to reach Ali whereas Ali has the reach and arm length to land a knockout right hand without "pillows" on his hands. Same goes for any boxer, they are too good with their punches and on their feet just to get taken down by someone running in at them, a good boxer would side step and land a quick combo

When boxing first started - ancient greece - they didn't wear big fat gloves. I'd love to see a boxer paired against a REAL fighter in the ring. I highly doubt the 'quick punch' of the boxer would 'kill' their opponents lol...only trhing I'll admit is that Rampage might have been a bad example lol but he is FAR from the best.

I train MMA, I won the BJJ Nationals in Grapplers Quest lightweight Teens, I have hope of competing mma pro, ...u don't understand mma and how top notch boxers can be taken down by non top notch grapplers....U don't understand Catching someone with uppercuts to prevent a takedown is extremly low percentage and ive never seen end a fight...James Toney was a good boxer, and was taken down with what no1 would consider a practical MMA takedown lolololol
