lol i just made myself some kick ass turkey burgers half an hour ago but damm now you've got me in the mode to reheat the skillet and slap together some lean tuna burgers lol, great vid, keep them coming
@Ihatemaxpigmentation its pam... aka conola oil and its actually zero cal compared to a vegitable oil. the only thing he's doing wrong with the pam is ur not supposed to spray it on teflon coated pans. and ur saying tuna is bad to eat cuz there arent a lot left? if they were that close to extinction wouldnt they go on the endangered species list as opposed to be sold so cheap in a grocery store? not trying to be a dick just trying to figure out where ur getting this info from.
I just tried that there and OMG, You should try this out guys its alot better than eating boring old tuna out of the can, I like a lil bit of mayo and salt and pepper with it,
What do you use to get the tuna to bind together? Mine usually become watery and sticky but my mum added a tiny bit of flour to hold it all together with but I'm not sure if that flour made it less healthy.
I would eat this because it looks good, unfortunately with the high amounts of mercury allowed to be in tuna, I would rather not risk it...looks great though. :)
Thank you so much Micheal for your great receipes and tips! I'm going to try this tuna burger this week =) Your motivation helps me everyday snd also when I do my workouts!
I love your recipes, they aren't bland, they're healthy and pretty filling if you add a veggie or something. I love this channel, for real...you are the truth when it comes to healthy eayting bro.
Holly crap ur like Scooby except with a better taste in food and also i notice that u only had 4k subs i think u deserve more, Thanks for this delicious meal :)
well i'm not sure if it is so with tuna and chicken but i've heard that it does happen with other food... i believe it was spinash? 'but don't judge me i just read that somewhere
@rokareltje4 Yes, with vegetables that's the case. They lose alot of their nutritional value when you steam/cook them and I also read that our bodies aren't made to ingest cooked veggies and treat them as foreign, but I'm not sure if that part is true.
@leanbodylifestyle Not all raw vegetables provide the best nutritional value. Some vegetables need to be cooked in order to release certain compounds which are not available when the vegetables are raw.
@leanbodylifestyle high temperature cooking can destroy vitamins, eating chicken raw is more nutritious but obviously that would be quite rank and will make you sick
@rokareltje4 Cooked meat is something that is healthier versus not cooked. Healthier not as in it's nutritional value but how we digest it and the healthier our digestion is the healthier the rest of our body is.
@CIarKent They do and I agree, but not because of the mercury content. I think you'll find a diet with tuna 7 days a week really boring, so 2-3 maybe 4 times a week should be great. Still, there are so many other foods you can eat apart from tuna, there's plenty to choose from!
@HollanderT12345 That's for sure. I never really understood how people could stick to diets consisting of the very same meals for a month or so. I guess that's why diets you go on are often ineffective. People get bored and start eating crappy food.
@jusbry007 Protein and fat curb hunger. A high carb meal will do virtually the opposite, unless you eat a big salad with a lot of fibrous vegetables or something.
ok can someone please answer this cause Ive been stumblin. What's the deal with tuna and mercury? How much is ok to consume daily/weekly??

thanks mike.
For people like me who don't have cooking spray, you can use sesame seeds...
put some on the pan or roll the tuna in it . this way it'll become crunchy and delicious.

1. tuna may be healthy but its the worst fish to eat, cause there is almost no tuna left in the seas
2. what did you spray into the pan? i bet some ordinary oil is healthier than this and doesnt make the tuna stick either...

Actually canned tuna has arleady reached cooking temperature twice. Once when its cooked originally and the second time when its canned .
BTW I have been eating tuna and salmon cakes for years and years, its really low fat and high protien and tasty to boot.
