@mrpoopdaddy if you upgrade the internals just like what you would do with a g&g or a ca or kwa except with maybe a few more upgrades and still come out ahead
kwa and G&G are both very good brands, they both have great accurracy, and they are both full metal, the G&G m4 has a 6.04 tight bore inner barrel, im not sure about the kwa but anyways, the kwa has a bit better internals.and G&G could probably handle a lipo to.i personaly would rather have the G&G, but thats just me.jerek4 has accuracy tests on both of them so i would chech those out too
i mean if u upgrade the gear box and piston and piston head and cylinder and air nozzle and the barrel shouldnt it be just as good if not better for like half the price
@hajisWORSTnightmare- No, jg's are worse. If you play airsoft alot like me that makes a big difference because you could get someone on your first few shots or shoot someone farther away.
i do play alot for the past 5 years constantly and i have a jg m733 commando matrix upgraded to shoot 440~460 fps and has a tightbore barrel and the whole works and has a good kill range within 300 feet
why do you honestly need a gun that can shoot that far accurately...but in Canada I can't fing a blowback version from jg anyways so i have to go with g&g..but nothings really bad about that
i just got my friends old Jing Gong M16A4, Im upgrading it to Systema Pneumatics (Piston, Cylinder, Piston Head, and Cylinder Head). I removed all three gears, cleaned em' and tempered them with a propane torch and some ice water.it has a bipod, and I did a custom Paintjob rockin' straight up woodland, it's so badass. 9.6V 4200Mah Battery. Im thinking about putting ball bearing bushings in it but im skeptical about how much it will actually improve performance.
@shawngordo if you want accuracy get a gun with the longest barrel possible. An m16 or a Bullpup design gun. Then buy a 6.03 or 6.04 tight bore barrel with that
@LatinoLEGO2000 Based on my experiences, I'd still go with the KWA. Even though the specifications aren't that much different, they still come out higher, and the higher the better. Great customer support, and they really interact with the airsoft community.
True but they can still break trust me i own kwa m4 but dont use lipo and all you need it one shot not increased speed id be worrying about the battery life
Yeah KWA's are 'Li Po' ready but there a degree to what companies mean by 'Li-Po' ready. Having said that though, i've spoken to someone who has the older KWA (2G) gearbox, and that survived 180,000 + rounds at 490fps whilst shooting 25rps on a lipo. After that, the only thing that broke was the piston, a simple repair job.
sorry, i am a dumbass and 3 months ago i didnt know kwa was lipo ready but now i know its lipo ready...and i bought one yesterday lol its fast enough with the 9.6 i hav though its amazing about 17-19 rps @ 400 fps....no point in a lipo :D
hey im thinking about getting into airsoft and getting the KWA M4A1 but thing is i dun wanna spend $290+ on a gun but have nowhere 2 play it where do u recommend for SW florida
no the lipo battery doesnt ruin the motor, gears, or anything internally. people say it does, but it really doesnt. KWA wouldnt say it is lipo ready out of the box if it couldnt handle it. the gearbox is made of 8mm and 9mm gears. normal gearbox is about 6mm and 7mm, or 7mm and 9mm. so the KWA gearbox is a lot better than, for example, tokyo marui or classic army. so go buy a lipo battery. nothing will happen to your gun.
im pretty sure you need a li-po charger. i dont think you have to go through all those internal upgrading for li-po batteries. otherwise, kwa wouldn't say the gun is li-po ready out of the box
im getting one in a few weeks can u tell me if u have had any problems with the internals with that lipo battery, and what yourfps is with that specific battery
@John08031992 KWA is like every company, there are some lemon's...A friend of mine has had 4 KWA's 2 of which stripped gears, or a piston in the first week of ever being used. (he only uses 9.6v) and the other 2 worked flawlessly for months. So like i said its just like anything else...there's always the chance for a lemon.
i have had a bit of trouble with my barrel shredding while firing my rifle. have you? I am using a li-poly stock Km4a1 and I can't figure out why it is shredding.
I mean the whole inner barrel is not really shredding, but plastic crap is coming off. its like a sealent. it feels like plastic. Its like after a lot of lube has been used in it, the lube is peeling off in a thick layer.
where can i get that i have wars with my buds but i only have a pistol and we always if i get one of them ill kick ass send me a pm telling me where u got it
then your doing it wrong... the one on airsplat should fit perfectly... soemtimes the handguard will seem to have a gap but you gotta find the perfect position.. post a pic
Just using heavier bbs won't cut it. The thing is that by using heavier bb's, the velocity may decrease, but the same energy is still put behind the bb initially, so there's still quite a bit of punch headed down range. Think of it like this: what would hurt more, a ping pong ball at 200 fps, or a golf ball at 100 fps? Obviously that comparison is slightly more drastic, but the idea is still the same. Anyway, I'm just trying to push a little saftey here. Get a weaker spring, not heavier bbs.
dont know, this is my opinion, but the m4 is compact and has a decent length barell, but the g36c can house a large battery and has a very short barrell.
THATS SICK! Im looking into buyng this gun instead of a G&G or CA. I was wondering if you would buy this over those two brands and where did you buy your lipo battery
Airsplat is gonna be pretty cheap. ShortyUSA is gonna be expensive and depending on where you live, your package might come smashed or not. You might wanna check AIRSOFTGI.
Li-Po batteries last an entire day match, and then some. the best part is that they retain their power over time extreamly well and you dont need to discharge them. just recharge whenever you need to
self restaint. I know its hard with the li-po(like I said, i have the same gun and li-po also) Im using way mor ammo than i used to, but im gonna change that. Try burst firing the gun. Heck just tapping the trigger with full auto shoots out 6-7bbs. And with .25s this things very accurate. Bring the full auto pain when you want someones head to STAY DOWN. Im gonna buy a kwa1911 soon and have a KWA loadout :)
What's kinda weird about this gun is it has a kick to it, which is pretty cool.
If you want to spend $300 on a rifle, this is definitely the one to get. Just make sure you have a couple of extra clips if you are going to use the lipo.
