@marsyvolty1 just practice the 5 note scale from bottom to top for one week and next week try to hit a higher note the process will gradually increase to the point where you can hit higher notes. i am a baritone and i was able to hit tenor C or C5 with this exercise

Just to increase your range takes PRACTISE. You NEVER strain your voice, just support yourself from the diaphragm, and let your voice relax in between, so that you don't strain it. It's amazing what happens, but it takes a lot of time. Whistle notes are just a skill that some get, and they are quite hard to get. I learned them by imitating opera singers. Try to remember how it was to do those REALLY high notes when you were little, and work on it little by little.

correct - similarly to an Olympic high jumper - we don't always match our personal best on a daily basis unless we're in full training mode.

At this stage - I'm only training my voice for notes that Id need in a live concert situation. The other super-high notes at the moment are kind of redundant since I havent written any music including them.

Howdy Supra3, thanks 4 your message - in answering your question - when you work on your fasetto, it affects your "Chest voice". my chest voice used to reach up to a max of D above middle C (when I was in high school) now I can easily reach the D above that in full voice - my top chest voice notes though are around a G or A above that (in other words 2 A's above middle C) Hope that helps answer your question.

Adam, you're vocal range is crazy but I have one question. You're falsetto range seems to go off the piano as seen in guiness videos but your chest voice range seems to be very limited in comparison. Is it possible to train and practise so that your chest voice vocal range in wider? As far as I've seen in all vocal training/teaching exercises, they claim to increase your range but only through a falsetto register. If you have a crappy chest voice range are you basically outta luck?

Hello Dazlovesboyo,

it changes every day. All depends on how much sleep and water I've had as well as how much humidity there is in the air, the teperature and the Moon.

On average I do 5-6 octaves. The most i've ever had is 8.

Vocal range isn't something I check every day. I only warm up or train up to the vocal notes I use in recordings or in live music.
