The voice of cello is so good, I think the cello may be expensive.

In fact the cello is ordinary insignificant Soviet instrument rented without any cost from Estonian National Orchestra - the one nobody else wanted for years. The sound is probably more caused by his teacher, 90-year old Grand Old Lady of Estonian cello school characterized especially by it's good sound. :)

this is ok... kind of slow tempo, but im sure that cello is all this kid does and he has been playing since he was 3 or 4. not that impressive.

you are mistaken.. he plays since 6 and he also goes to special music school with long days and lots to study..

There's no "real version wich goes into thumb position", as this concerto was written for viola and not for cello.

From the time last video taken about a year ago, Marcel has advanced quite a lot I think. The playing is somewhat more mature and phrases more confidently flowing. Very beautiful and good work, keep going!!!
