I use real fire ashes when cool for weathering none of this expensixe pegment stuff it works well on all fronts, WWI, WW2 ect. Real sand real dirt mixe dwithe glue can give some real results.
The application technique was great but way to much time was spent watching the builder dish out the pigments. It would also have been helpful to know what color pigments he used.
