I have children who all have either autism or ADHD characteristics and I can't, as a responsible parent, allow anyone to class my children as indigos. I have brought up the following example of how seriously this can affect a child, many times but so far it has been ignored by Indigo believers.

There was a 14yr old boy in America who had been brought up being told he was an indigo, and special and here to help save the world. He committed suicide because he believed his way to save people was to donate his organs.

So we have kids with special needs who could use special educational help and even other therapies (and, in the very worst case scenario medication) not getting that help .. how will they cope as adults ? Suggestions are made about schools just for Indigos as I have mentioned, but also home learning is seen as an option. That's not going to help the child develope social skills that they will need. Children should be children..childhood is hard and confusing enough as it is !!

Personally and from Esoterics point of view we are having a go because adults are putting their beliefs on their children..not in a "taking them to church" type way but a way that will impact on their whole life, how they see themselves and how they see others.
