  • wow this was very cool thanks for posting

  • Whaa...Okay that was seamless...how did they do that? I am clueless...

  • wow! forget about criss angel now, i want her to make me vanish!

  • de lujo..

  • Too bad she couldn't make Gary Morton disappear!

  • @eightiesfan That's a horrible thing to say. Lucy was deeply in love with Gary. I get sick of people bagging him!

  • Wow! I remember that special! It was an HBO presentation. Milton Berle and Jack Lemmon performed a variant of Assistant's Revenge. And, the Trisected Lady illusion was performed on a brunette spokesmodel named Jan Speck. Whom I believe later appeared on Chuck Barris' "New Treasure Hunt," prior to marrying one of the Oak Ridge Boys.

  • OMG Lucy was a magician?

  • what special is this???

  • I think it was some programme called 'Magic with the Stars' introduced by Milton Bearle

  • oh thanks, but ill try to see if thats true, but thanks for guessing at least.

  • Indeed, it was. It aired on HBO, which used to have more variety at that time. And, if memory serves, Jack Lemmon and Milton Berle performed a unique version of Assistant's Revenge on the same special.

  • Woo go Lucy! She's 70 and still not afraid to show off those legs!

  • Was she under the cloth?

  • Wow!Lucille was great with magic!

  • Good stuff and one of the best appearances at this point in time . . . thank you.

  • Just LOOK at those legs!!1 At 70.... not bad at all, girl!!!

  • Ball was 70 when she did this TV special. Semi-retired, she would do TV spots when playing backgammon and cards got boring. A rich woman who did like shopping with girlfriends or chatting over lunch. Work was her life.

  • Just think of what she could do if more thought was given to her costume and there was a little more time to prepare. She'd rival the top illusionists!

  • An interesting video of the immortal Lucille Ball....thank you for posting!!

  • That was so cool!!

    Thanks!

    J.
