I love the people who hate on airsoft videos because they were looking for 'the real gun'! First of all, the majority of AK models are shit, only worth buying due to their cheap price, reliance, and durability. You can drop them in the mud and they'll still shoot. hey, i got the same gun, same cons but you no the right angled metal on the wodden forgrip of the gun, the wood for me slightly moves a little, i think when it was made, it was positioned to far to the right, should i take it in for a repair?

I took a CYMA CM-042 AK-47, put an AK-74 barrel extension on, replaced the dust cover with an AK-74 cover, and popped in an AK-74 black magazine, and I gotta say, it looks like an AK-74 from a distance. But, of course, the only thing that looks exactly like an AK-74 is an AK-74. Great video.

You mention there are two parts to the reciever, an upper and lower. On all kalasnikov type rifles there is only the reciever. the "upper" as you refer to it is actualy a "dust cover", which prevents dibris from entering the mechanism. an upper reciever as such on Armalite (ar-15 and m-16 riffles) is an actual functioning component and is needed for teh system to operate......Thought i would let you know. kind of sick of the miss-information. thanks.

@yahzine20 That´s how it is, IF you buy the Full STEEL Version from Dboys. I have two Full STEEL Dboys AKs: AK-105 and AKS-74. Every single metal part, except for the alloy outer barrel is made out of steel! VERY solid, VERY reliable Gearbox, VERY Realistic. Classic Army on the other side uses Screws in their AK´s, what is absolutely unrealistic, plus, they are way to expensive for what you get. But do not go for the Full METAL versions of Dboys, cause many Pot Metal Parts can brake.

I have a Echo1 rebranded D-Boys Kalash RK-05 as VMG-74 basically an AK-74M and it's great replaced my piece of AR which stinks compared to this sucks for x-mas Im gettin a GP-25 for it to embarass all my friends with thier punny M4s. AK-74M is primary Infantry weapon of Russian Army. Question do you know how to take the flash hider for this gun and a silencer that my favorite special forces Spetsgruppa A would use like a BPS-1 let me know thanks.

To take the muzzle brake off press in the spring powered tablocated between the brake and the barrel, simply push in and unscrew.

All depends on what kind 0f gun?

on thw 7.62's they would use PBS-1 on AKSU likely a PBS-4, other versions of silencers failed to meet Russian/ Soviet requirements.

the folding stock is just crap. its so cheap. I have this gun also, but they really need to reinforce the folding stock crap crap crap a small metal part of the body near the folding stock and the battery compartment was chipped away. now the folding stock is a bit wobbly

i say get the AKS-74 just because it can convert to a cqb gun by folding the stock and you get more range, fps, and accuracy but it will never be smaller than the Aks-74u just because it was made for cqb, if you are going to play cqb only i suggest the 74u but if you are all around i suggest the normal 74

If your doing CQB get the rk-01, If not get the rk-03. The AKSU has a shorter barrel meaning less accurcy

I have no idea if you knew this but there is a way to take the muzzle break off.

There is a spring loaded push pin above the barrel where the front site assembly and the barrel meet. You press and hold that while screwing the break off until the muzzle break has cleared the range of the pin and then you can finish screwing off the muzzle break.
