  • @Dimitar175 yeah the graphics card is the same, thanks for the advice :D

  • I ordered a computer with this graphics card, the processor is an AMD FX 4100 Black Edition 3.60GHz and the ram is 4GB Corsair DDR3 1600mhz Vengeance, would I be able to run Skyrim on at least medium settings? I don't want to waist £30 or so on the game if it wont run well.

  • @PeterNathanHull You're processor is better than mine, the ram has more frequency, you will be able to run the game with highly good performance, btw you have the same graphics card, right?

  • I'm gonna get a pc with a 5450 and replace it with this card

  • im using the same graphic card, every game i can maxed out, this card is cheap and very useful

  • @SasiRedevil I know, a lot of people misunderstand this card, it is cheap and useful and i can so max out most game, i downgrade the graphic quality only when I'm playing demanding games.

  • @Dimitar175 yes man

  • What is your processor speed? What is recommended? (I am buying the same card)

  • @cpuHacka101 AMD Athlon II X4 645 3100MHz (3.1GHz) I'm suggesting get a better GPU then HD 5570, It's great though, I will soon upgrade to HD 7000 series this September, 28nm Technology Transistors :D fast little devils, hey if you want, get the HD 6670 or HD 5670 it will cost you a wee bit more, but a way better performance :)

Thus don't look at the recommended system specs to run the game, I play Battlefield 3 on medium - high (some even Ultra) with no HBAO and i get like 20 fps minimum :P

  • @Dimitar175 Heheh, too late xD I did do some more research. I found a good one, but I can't afford it at the moment. ($80) I just upgraded my CPU to 3.0GHz Quad core so I hope I will get at least decent gameplay. Also, my computer only supports single slot PCI Express cards, that's why my choice wasn't wide. Thanks for the advice

  • Can i run good it on:

    AMD Athlon x2 5000+ 2.4

    ram 1gb

    ati hd 5570 ?

    Will work ??

  • @Straszy1337 Yes, but with a little bit performance decrease, because of your ram memory and the Processor, mostly because of your ram, have you considered upgrading to 2 or more? Anyway, the decrease would be probably like 2 - 3 fps or possible to 5, lower the resolution to 1024x768p and you will get 40+ :)

  • @Dimitar175 I buy with graphics cart 2 gb ram

  • What are your pc specs and could i run this/or other games with a athlon x4 640 3.0ghz ati radeon 5570 1gb 4gb of ram and 1tb.

  • @redremnant We have the same specs, look in the beginning of the movie, i should have putt them in the description. Of course you can run it, you can run every game, i ran battlefield 3 on medium also i can put some on high even on ultra without AA and SSAO (it slows the frames a lot :S) Anyway i will upload a Battlefied 3 video if ya want.

  • I forgot to mention, i ran BF 3 with 20 - 37fps i think or more, couldn't remember.

I play CoD MW 3 on Ultra with 2x AA 16x AF and fps don't drop bellow 40fps :P

  • Hey bro, could one such as myself run a Radeon 5570 card even tho i have only a 300W (Stock) PSU? I was told it has very low wattage usage when maxing out 3D applications but i just wanna make sure, cause i just got skyrim 2day and the radeon 2400 aint cutting it...(In case u were wondering i play at 1024x768 res with 2 High settings and the rest medium and get 15-20 fps D-:

  • @harveyjake1985

    Ofc, the HD 5570 uses 43W on LOAD ! on idle i think it is somewhere between 1 - 10 W :/

you should have no problem with your PSU, the HD 5570 can work even on a 200W, but that depends on your other system components...

  • @Dimitar175 System Specs:

Intel Pentium Dual Core e2200 2.20ghz

    300G HDD

    3G RAM

    Windows Vista 32-bit OS

  • @Dimitar175 This is a half height card right? Is a 220 W power supply enought or will I need to upgrade that to? I want to upgrade so I can play Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2.

  • @Zain844 It would be best if you bought a new PSU they are so cheap, its not worth risking your system, but yes i think it'll work, but not sure though..

  • @Dimitar175 Yeah I went online I foud pretty cheap 350-400 watt power supplies for 30 and 40 bucks that will fit in a micro ATX case. 300 watts is the reccommeded requirements for most of the cards I am looking at. So these power supplies will be more then enough

  • @Dimitar175 Yeah I went on

  • @Dimitar175 Other parts include

    Intel(R) Pentium E2200 Dual Core 2.20ghz

    Corsair 3GB DDR3

    300GB HDD

    Stock 300W PSU etc

and getting new card sometime this week :P

  • God lower the filtering and AA...

Playing Skyrim same graphics card on:

    Medium settings

    1920x1200 resolution

    No filtering/AA

  • @WhipeeDip aaa... the AF, i always put it on max 16x AF cause there is no change in fps :P

  • @Dimitar175 lol didn't know about the AF, put it on 16x and it only dropped me 2 fps... thanks!

  • @WhipeeDip :) np

  • pump up that 720 :P

  • With that resolution it auto adjusts Antialiasing. I suggest turnning off the AA and getting a major frame increase.

  • my monitor is 16inch LED benq.. i can play fair on high settings on 800x600 resolution only =D

  • @ef827

well when you decrease the resolution, you gain a lot more fps then usual :), but i like to play it on max resolution my monitor can support cause even if you run it on 800x600 with max settings, the graphics are ugly like all objects mashed up all together and without Anti-Aliasing.. yeah its really ugly, I play Hot Pursuit nfs on max, sadly the game doesn't support Anti-Aliasing :( and it is kinda bad...

  • Hope you updated the graphics driver because when I did it ran way smoother with way better fps. Have a computer with an 5570 that could only stand 2xAA and 4xAF, now it does 4xAA and 8xAF with the update

    Thx for the vid.

  • @introverteli

yeah, a, the reason i lack of fps, is cause i need to clean the PC, so drivers were updated then, but i deleted the game sadly cause i don't study when i play the game :)

  • @introverteli

well, my HDD is full so, it slows down a bit, i should delete some files and it will make it better :)

    You're welcome :)

  • how long does it take to render a video?

  • @redremnant 40 mins to 1 hour and a half depending on the resolution and file size you want....

  • @Warmeista Well im going to buy a computer with a amd x4 640= 3.0ghz 4gb of ram radeon 5570 and a 1tb and how long would it take to render a ten minute video on 720p resolution

  • @redremnant still about 40 to 1 hour =P

  • @Warmeista Is the rendering software sony vegas

  • @redremnant yes

  • did you have problems with the fog at load screen, it looks like big blocks? i have the same computer as you, same specs... its an ibuypower computer right? i am having some serious problems i dont want to play because of the fog it looks like shit, just big giant blocks. everything else is fine.

  • Does the fps increase with a lower resolution or the AF off? Still it's hard to believe that its running 30 fps :O i want it

  • @Crusader14

I have played it on Ultra with no AA on same resolution and it is playable, a little bit laggy like 18-23fps but still. The answer your question: If you lower the resolution it increases, 23-27fps on ultra with no AA, AF still on x16 (i don't know if there is difference in performance if AF is on or of but you have a good performance and it is very playable :)

  • I've never played any Elder scrolls game except for Skyrim and i liked it, its way better without the fraps though, btw there is a difference when you play in 1st person mode and in 3rd person, the performance doesn't increase but the gameplay becomes more smooth :P

  • oblivion is a good game but skyrim is the best game i have ever see

  • You should probably take those black lines away cuz it ruines the clip, but good picture what i can see :)
