Im not hating on this game one bit from this trailer the gameplay looks promising i just wonder how they are going to do the story? will the old characters be in it? like virgil,sparda,nero..etc..ill defo be buying this first day :)...it just bugs me why capcom decided to ditch the original when it had so much they never told us..like is virgil still alive or not?..oh well this still looks like a sick ass game :)

DMC is not about some nero guy who is walking trough some beautifull woods,DMC is abbout dante and his life,and his life is peinfull and sad like in first 3 games.
It gave me the creeps when he looked at the screen at 1:19 X_X' His moves reminds me of Nero's moves... I think Nero can do better... sorry ~_~' But I will still play this game ^^,
This is just an experiment by Capcom, and if it fails, well, they'll probably just throw the whole DMC franchise out the window. Rather than make any effort to explain the story any further, they just put it in the "too hard" basket and decided to start from scratch. It was a lazy decision, and one that I don't think will pay off too well in the end. I think this is the end of DMC as a whole. They should have known better than to give it to a company with minimal experience in this genre.

Oh My! The design is still so blended and uninspiring use of color. The new of look of this man is not as EMO as before but kind of look like a monkey like some of the people had said. It is kind of sad & funny the same time. =P
everyone needs to lay off on the new dante and NT, since it wasn't their idea to reboot dmc, it was capcom's idea, since they felt like after 4 that they wanted reboot it so they had NT do it, & it was capcom's idea to redesign dante not NT's, and by the look of this trailer NT's trying it's best to stay true to dmc in terms of action, storywise its a reboot so they do get to take some liberties with it, so try to be considerate & wait until the game comes out & then give your bottom line on it.

the music is so ugh, it's not metal like it should be but considering his age its the kind of music they would put in the game but sounded 80's just a tiny bit at first. The Carnival scenes were actually kind of cool especially when that ferris wheel changed. And that first scene with the autumn tree and Tameem shootinging upward was pretty cool, liked the setting and colors mroe though. Why do sword swings sound like shotgun blasts? game still bothers me. Scene with giant demon looked epic
For me to buy this there would have to be vergil in it and boobs ....always important....also elaboration on what happened to vergil in dmc 1 dead alive nero's arm and if sparda is dead or not alot to ask from ninja theory and if this falls flat on it's head i will send coolface's to NT's head office in England oh the lulz :)
@TidusAbes have you played DMC1-4. Dante is different in every game. this is because Capcom let go of the original creators. DMC4 Dante is huge, nothing like the slender Dante of DMC1. he has a camp voice, unlike DMC1/2 Dante, he has a facial stucture unlike the Japanese facial structure of DMC1-3. he even wears red homo cowboy boots. whether you like it or not, the one true Dante was DMC1, hes been gone a long time. while DmC Dante is different, his personally is a lot closer to DMC1 Dante.
Hmmm wonder if Reuben Langdon is still doing MoCap for this Dante and doing the voice. And why do I get the feeling that Andy Serkis might be involved since this is a game developed by Ninja Theory.

How does this look like God of War? I'm not seeing any chain weapons, aside from the Devil Bringer-like grapple tool. How does this look like Dante's Inferno? Because he has a scythe? Ho noes! He also has two guns, it must be like Stranglehold or Max Payne, too!
The levels look really interesting. Was getting tired of the same shit over and over in the past few games. And I'm looking forward to kicking some ass with that scythe and whip-sword. Diggin' the music too; I'm guessing that's the new theme song.
I still don't see why everyone is complaining like bitches more than the gamecom trailer and I've played DMC1,3 and 4 so there can't be any excuse to say how bad this game is. I'll probably start laughing if after all this basing and thrashing, this game starts getting good reviews.

This fucking looks atrocious. Its possesses horrible scoring, terrible BROWN AND BLOOM OMG SO REAL, and just absolutely awful character design. Some may argue, this is an origin story! Devil May Cry 3 was an origin story, going back further is an irrelevant waste of time and energy. Not to mention, the fact the game now includes angelic forces, which is just...sigh.
This isn't Dante.
If you buy this game, you should feel bad.

hmmm. DMC es una saga muy buena, pero la idea de jugar con un Dante a la Emo style no me convence mucho, ya se que eso es lo que trae de moda la cosa esa que llaman TV pero no siempre es bueno seguir a la masas porque la malloria no son jugadores... me ubiera gustado mas una continuacion del DMC4 o una ligera explicacion de el inicio de su historia pero bueno, no digo que sea mal juego solo que no es algo que me llame mucho la atencion y probablemente pase el DMC4 otra vez antes que este...

the music is so ugh, it's not metal like it should be but considering his age its the kind of music they would put in the game but sounded 80's just a tiny bit at first. The Carnival scenes were actually kind of cool especially when that ferris wheel changed. And that first scene with the autumn tree and Tameem shootinging upward was pretty cool, liked the setting and colors mroe though. Why do sword swings sound like shotgun blasts? game still bothers me. Scene with giant demon looked epic

@TidusAbes have you played DMC1-4. Dante is different in every game. this is because Capcom let go of the original creators. DMC4 Dante is huge, nothing like the slender Dante of DMC1. he has a camp voice, unlike DMC1/2 Dante, he has a facial stucture unlike the Japanese facial structure of DMC1-3. he even wears red homo cowboy boots. whether you like it or not, the one true Dante was DMC1, hes been gone a long time. while DmC Dante is different, his personally is a lot closer to DMC1 Dante.

I still don't see why everyone is complaining like bitches more than the gamecom trailer and I've played DMC1,3 and 4 so there can't be any excuse to say how bad this game is. I'll probably start laughing if after all this basing and thrashing, this game starts getting good reviews.

These trailers keep getting shorter and shorter (twenty seconds of this trailer were of logos and the beginning sixteen seconds were just of Dante walking down an alley way with brief glimpses of different environments) with less and less new content shown in them...so of course people are going to be unhappy.
