If we can't base it off of Troy, what are we supposed to base it off of? The Iliad? If the Trojan War happened, which there is no irrefutable proof that it even did, than this would be much more realistic than the version where the Greek Gods appear and help Achilles kill Hector, and so on and so forth. Unless you're saying we shouldn't pretend to know the story of The Iliad based off of this movie, in which case, I agree wholeheartedly.
