  • @1greydenny9. WFC includes performances from the Rainbow in London. Mick Taylor was not in DC, and he is on WFC. The liner notes from the album refer to recording both at the Rainbow and at Lisner. You are correct that Tower of Power was only at the first of the three nights they recorded WFC at Lisner (I was too). Unfortunately they did not play Mercenary Territory that night; I still have a set list from the show.

  • @fishtana76 Are you sure everyone's not getting confused with the earlier UK tour when they played The Rainbow? I'm not a Feat expert but I saw them support the Who in 76 and that (I think) was the year they played their seminal set at The Rainbow. Just a thought. :)

  • Closest thing to the WFC live version.

  • Ahhhh....but methinks it twas actually Cerphe, not the Weez....HFS, Best station ever!

  • "Waiting For Columbus" was released before this concert took place - the concerts that make up the bulk of "Waiting for Columbus" took place at the Warner Theater in Washington DC over three shows (the person introducing Little Feat is Weezil, a local radio DJ from WHFS, a fantastic radio station. You can also hear the horn section from Tower of Power on Mercenary Territory, and they played only the first night.
