Stand-up comics have it TOUGH- they need to be right ‘on the mark’ night after night, even when they’re feeling low.

A friend of mine was once working in a comedy club while a gang had kidnapped his beautiful 17YO daughter due to some of his unpaid gambling debts. Every few days they sent video footage of her being gang-raped & tortured. After 2 weeks her horribly mutilated body was dumped on his doorstep. He had to keep audiences laughing with his wisecracks all the while.
