Great to see Greg Lemond, a Tour contender, riding to win a spring classic. He also did a great ride in Tour of Flanders that year.

Marc Madiot won this race as Eric cracked big time.

I wouldn't be so sure about the drugs part... but yes, real racing - the whole season. The Sean Kelly's, Hinault's, etc... are all gone.

lol..no drugs? plenty off drugs..no EPO..but blood doping, amphetamine, cortison , anabolic steroids etc...
