I applaud you trying to help people in need but maybe you need to ask the other countries of Africa first since they have so much to lose if this civil atrocity crosses their borders.

America needs to defend its self first that way we have the choice to help others. At this time we are far from being at the point that we can step into every battle around the world. Our National Guard needs to guard our Nation.

It's a great question, but I almost fear the reality of what the United States will do against the genocide occurring there. Because the current peacekeeping methods haven't slowed down the implosion of Darfur ... it's simply spread.

Barack Obama has stated a need for the US to intervene in the Sudan, but I worry that intervention could mean another troop invasion upon a Moslem dominated territory. You tell me; What is needed to solve that problem ?
