Yes it is very unique. She smoked since she was 14 which is probably why there's a bit of rasp in there. I love that she sounds just as good if not better live than on her albums.

Yes, there are people who naturally have a rasp in their voice so hers could be 100% natural, but it's also possible for it to be from smoking seeing as how she has been a smoker for quite some time. Just a theory. Either way she's one hell of a singer
