Dont get me wrong, I love my Kettlebells and that does look like a heavy bar steward ! but you must admit........ it really does look like a real kettle without a spout haha !
@jimmyjimmyf I apologize, one of my nephew's hacked me as I left my youtube account logged on to their computer. I apologize for that comment. I'll be more careful. Good job on your training.
hi Jimmy , what do you doing with the kettlebell in this moment?have you use a particular progression to arrive at this strenght or a particular training programm?
I'm looking to get better than i am today, every day. There won't be a final destination cos nobody ever has to peak, it's just most people's way of saying that they think they've done enough.
Thanks for the appraisal there, technique is flimsy word. I mean, i haven't injured myself, and in three years have gone from a 20kg bell to a 70kg one. If a focus on technique deters me from a focus on progress, then leave it to those who'd prefer to make an evolution provoking tool like KB's into a sport, as if there weren't enough sports out there.
Thank you, i don't have any awards for kettlebells. At the moment im just trying to get very strong using my own style of training and hopefully help others attain better strength once ive figured it all out.
Difficult to say, I think strength training now is more about attitude and efficiency, Most ppl have to work and have families, so hours of training a day is not an option, and most just dont have the energy to train extremely hard, even for a short period of time. Im hoping to come up with a short, intense routine, that will make ppl stronger without being much bigger. As for the energy problem, ive been researching cheap supplements (non ephedra, hormonal or steroidal) as a possible avenue.
So the answer is probably 8 months to a year before i'll have enough research and training completed, currently a lot of good things are going on and if all goes to plan then the pace can only quicken from here.
Good, I'll be sure to check up on it when the time comes. Right now I'm trying to get 200 snatches in the SSST and half my bodyweight in the military press by the time I turn 18, which is in October. Any tips on the military press?
avoid narrow stances, once its cleaned breathe out and loosen your body just enough so that it feels like you have some give in your muscle tension, basically youre not looking to collapse but you also don't want to be over tensed and spent before you press upwards. Also, relaxing a little gives you more explosive potential and resets the muscles after the clean ready to synchronize in the press. Don't be afraid to counterbalance to complete the press, they will get more strict as you practice
