I had the 11min. version of this and many other monster movies. I used to charge the other kids in the neighborhood 10 cents to come in my basement and watch them. Then I would save up the money and go and buy more Castle & Ken Films.
There was two versions of this released by Ken Films back in the 1960's. The version we're seeing here and a longer version ( 11 minutes) that was mounted on a 200' reel. Both were B&W silent and the longer version ended abruptly as well. The version I owned was in Standard 8mm, not Super 8mm. I remember the box art on the film was pretty funky.
Godzilla seems to move more majestic, slower....I love it!!!

I still have this from Ken Films...does yours end abruptly as they are awaiting the hatching of the egg, or does it have an ending card?

Hmm...This is very interesting. I never knew that "Godzilla vs. Mothra was filmed in B&W. Every version I've seen was colorized.

Nope, it was filmed in color. This was just for a Super 8 mm Projector, hence the black and white
