  • Summer :)

  • Lawl I was like "o.O" until I recognized you live in Australia where everything is "upsidedown" : )

  • Pssht. 24 degrees Celsius is nothing (its like 74 degrees Fahrenheit). Here in Michigan its regularly about 85 Fahrenheit or more with like 90% humidity. Terrible getting started and terrible whenever you have to stop.

  • I'm Aussie too :P. I'm from Victoria.

  • You have to be more specific when saying "British accent". There are many different accents in Britain.

  • @KINGOSWALD As there are with all accents...

  • blinky we still havent seen u. are you the stig? haha

  • I think it's that we're used to Doctor Who or some angry guy on TV representing British accents, and Australians are represented by Steve Irwin. It's like no one knows who Eric Bana is here. Maybe the less strong the accent is, the easier it is to get them mixed up. I suppose the hardest ones to mix up are American and British accents. With soft enough accents, any of the other combinations could get mixed.

  • @alarikmarcus

No idea what you're talking about, anyone that confuses American and British accents would have to have half a brain.

  • I live in the UK, it rains here... Like, a lot, there is no summer for us :(

  • I can easily tell the difference... And by the way, it's kinda awkward for me thinking that it's summer their right now... Lol Although, for some reason here in Chicago (which normally starts getting constant snow in early December) we had our first snowfall a week ago, while a couple weeks ago in the states in the south where it rarely snows, there was snow...

  • @zookeeper2345 Chicago's a city in the state of Illinois FYI

  • Dont worry about Americans. Most of us are dumber than dirt and our minds are controlled by the government.

  • @RedneckDeerhunter252 Thanks for helping British cunts out on their stereotypes...

  • @RedneckDeerhunter252 Speak for yourself.

  • If its summer why is it snowing outside right now? Youre on the wrong side of the planet.

  • Love your videos. Surprised by seeing that Brisbane suburbs look much like American suburbs.

  • 3:57, when he's driving between those cars try doing that in north america and you will get pulled over

  • @MrMohammed420 Not in Los Angeles, or any where else in Californnia, for that matter

  • @MrMohammed420 in certain states its legal.

  • I'm Russian, and when I was talking Russian in America I got asked if I was German....

  • @Gibsunit It's legal here in England too :)

  • Freakin hot out there its cold in America its our winter I need to get away and come there to stop away from the cold

  • were in brisbane are you? we should ride some time, i know some really good road's malany way :)

  • I'm British, and when i was in America i got asked if i was German

  • in sydney it has been shit only 3 days sunny :(

  • Im from the UK and i genuinely dont understand how some americans can't tell the difference between us.... oh and btw when you were talking about pronouncing words like half, arse (or ass), last - that depends which UK accent they aren't all the same :)

  • @theroflraptor yeah man me too. I'm Aussie and when I've been in America everyone thinks I'm British. I'm like what the hell, our accents are so different. I can pick up the slight similarities if I try to, but I could never confuse the two.

  • @jauffRINDIR yeah totally :) what part of australia you from?

  • @theroflraptor Brisbane, you?

  • @jauffRINDIR Southampton, it's right beneath london on the south coast of england :) so goddamn cold here atm though i bet you guys are having a sunny xmas!

  • @theroflraptor ahh how I wish for an actually cold winter. I hate our climate. But so far summer has been bareable :D Have a good xmas, mate :)

  • @jauffRINDIR Personally I just cant begin to imagine having christmas in summer - seems sooooo weird :P thanks you too :)

  • Im so glad I came across your videos on here. They are very entertaining and interesting to watch. I have to say though.. I thought you were from New Zealand until I saw the number plates on the cars and really listened to your voice. Australia looks much nicer then New Zealand at the moment, all we have here in NZ is rain rain and more rain.

  • Oh shit, I just realized he uses his hands to talk haha. You can see in his mirror :b 3:01

  • Sometimes, I retain the general American sound, but pronounce things similar to that of the British or American accent. Perhaps, it's because I'm greatly exposed to the Commonwealth (Jamaican parents, British cousin, Australian best friend, Australian favorite subscription!).

  • Some British loyalists who have a grudge against the dissolution of the empire would argue otherwise, Blinky.

  • americans are dumb..they never get out of their country. they listen to your accent thought you sound a bit brit and hence they assume you are in uk. sometimes just need to laugh at them

  • I'm a European, not English and I can tell an Australian from an English person.

Oh, and it's "a European, not an European, because the vowel rule doesn't apply due to the fact that when you spell out "European", there's "yu" in the very beginning of the word, just in case anyone's wondering... :P

  • @ordi75 I referred to my post, not to the vid

  • hey blinky how come you never show your face haha

  • -1°C here in Slovakia!... :D drive safe blinky!

  • -8 in Montreal right now...blame canada!

  • 2 celsius winter in italy now..i hate you!

  • So lucky. It was 8 degrees Fahrenheit this morning here in America :(

  • Blinky.

I dont know if you told us before but i was watching "Blinky Bill" with my sister and it just occured to me, How did you get your name?.

    Im just curious.

    Thanks.

  • @TheNathanGardner

lol, No we do not eat our christmas dinner on the beach.

Well i do not and everyone i know does not.

  • Can you settle a dispute, do Australians eat christmas dinner on the beach?

  • This is very off topic but...what's your mileage on it right now? and how long have you rode the bike?

  • Ignorant americans, always making me look bad across the world.

I'm american, and i try my best to not be ignorant. Australian is quite different from british, completely. Oh well.

I wish it was summer now here...

  • @sheepborg And i also wish we could have some of those strictly australian cars and whatnot.

  • I'm from America, I can tell your Australian. I can fake a British accent I can't do an Australian. People from Spain/Peru/Mexico/Portugal I can't tell the difference, let alone understand them. I guess it's like that for some people but with British and Australian.

  • @Bakad05

And i'm from England, so what british accent can you do? Northern, southern, welsh, scottish, cockney, geordie, or the now favourite essex accent?

  • @LaserDoughnutLord Most probably the generic Cockney Londoner.

Because we still mine for coal, obsess over tea and have an affinity for hats, don't we. :P

  • @CultureShockSix

Yeah, I think the tea obsession still exists though, but personally i think tea is horrible.

  • @LaserDoughnutLord More of a coffee man myself. The only tea I'll drink is green tea on the rare occasion. Pip Pip What.

  • Definitely Americans lol who the hell else could mistake an Australian accent for a British one??

  • @JmaJeremy514 lololol im pretty aLOT of americans know the difference

  • I’m american and damn it i want to hear an american accent

  • I'll trade you. It never got above 25F degrees

  • Why is everyone posting about your Nationality?

  • Ahhh!!! Im american and i knew you were australian from the MOMENT i started following you!!!! Personally i think the australian accent is way hotter than an english accent.

  • 1 disliker thought blinky was from the UK

  • 1 dislike...hahahha he can't figure out why its summer on the bottom end of the world lol

  • I like how you make your videos topic based. I've noticed that!

  • Holy shit! Blinkycab do you live in Sunnybank?! Or around that area?! Because I just recognized you riding past Sunnybank Plaza!

  • i saw this in the homepage, and i was thinking "wtf is wrong with him, its winter.... oh wait, he's austrillian..."

  • Forgot*

  • Lol what? I forint about the seasonal differences between Australia and the US.

  • Stop apologizing for americans. We already have a president that does enough of that

  • Spida

  • +100 for the strong American Accent comment.

Along with the other US watchers apologizing, I would like to as well.

We have a lot of people here who make me lose faith in humanity, lol.

Keep up the vids BC. I'll be watchin'.

  • Wish we had weather like this down in Tassie :< I really wanna get out on my motorbike/bicycle.

  • @freakehh

    DO IT FAGGOT

  • The Australian Blinky. I knew it man. Then again I watch every single video. I can pick it out. Great Vids man, keep em coming topic based or not

  • im in sydney, and it has been freezing and raining the past 2 days :(

  • In Finland, it's snowing :D

  • Although I know you live in Australia and that it is on the other side of the world from the UK, it still feels weird that it is freezing cold and winter here but it is boiling hot and summer in Australia.

  • Thats rights Americans there are other countries in the world.

  • @Laughy123456789 The one's that don't know that are idiots and I'm sorry you (and other non-Americans) have to put up with them.

We're not all ignorant douchebags, the bigots just talk more than the sensible ones.

  • Have you done any vids about Australia? I reckon you should!

  • so weird hearing start of summer in december. im in jersey and december is winter here

  • Hey Blinky i knew you were from australian. And welcome back bro.

  • Good timing, when everyone here is shutting down for the winter, we can get our fix from blinkycab! Still new to riding *_~ gettin used to "seasons", even in San Diego it can get cold enough to ruin a ride.

  • Yo bro your freakin lucky its 26F here and you are burning up we need o trade houses!!!

  • you can tell a British accent from an American accent because Americans say the whole word. What up brother- American. Whatz up brotha- british

  • You mean a buz cut blinky?

  • Welcome back bro! miss ya~

    LOL

  • Its interesting to find out how other people from other nations comment on American accent. Nice vid blinky please keep em' coming, much love from New York

  • How weird must it be for the people living in Australia seeing all the Christmas movies having snow all the time.

  • BUT can you tell australian from american... mwahahahahaa

  • you need a new intro track

  • I wish I owned a house in Australia and the US so it could be spring/summer all year round!

  • god damn i would kill for your weather...

  • Is lane splitting now legal in Australia or are you just a rebel?

  • @Mathius1337 REBEL!!!!!!

  • Me thinks I'm living in the wrong place -__- cold as the ice king's BALLS in MD

  • Your making everyone who lives in the northern hemisphere jealous.

  • Yes, another video is on the way!!!!!!!!!

  • Stop complaining about the heat it just started snowing here.................

  • when you do your american accent it sounds a bit Texan/ Southern =)

  • blinkycab a Pom, thats an insult :-) only three months to go and summer is over.....

  • Winter almost oficially here in Latvia :D

  • Speaking of accents, I once confused a Kiwi visiting the US for an Aussie, you know, based on his accent--he was quick to correct me, "awe don sond like no blasud Awshe". At least I had the right hemisphere!

  • @nominalvelocity ha kiwis talk a bit wierd, i know coz theres heaps around the area of Australia i live in :)

  • @ikill4joy The way I describe the aussie accent is it's the same as a kiwi accent, only more like a pirate :)

  • @ikill4joy I know, right... The NZ accent is sort of like if a Scot moved to Australia, and got a bit of that accent going on, and also has peanut butter perpetually stuck to the roof of his mouth.

  • but can you tell an American accent from a Canadian? that would be a similar comparison.

  • @nanahc haha canadian accent and american accent is "basicly" the same, i wouldnt be able to tell an american apart coming from a canadian, unless their southern :P

  • How can people not tell that your from Australia? for 1 the road markings and the road it's self is different, the path, tree's, sign's and number plates gave it away to me

  • @iReaChZz tbh, his accent is the biggest giveaway -.-

  • @1234davey4321 And that :')

  • fuck you blinky ! Its winter here in Canada and I can't ride and I have a foot of snow already ! D: You make me jealous !!

  • Winter started BUT today I bought an '06 ninja 250.

    SO EXCITED!

Gotta finish the damn finals first before I get to ride it.

  • freaking lucky... its winter here. temps in the 30s and 40s, surprisingly high this year! Aint stopping me from riding

  • i'd give anything for some hot weather... instead of freezing rain for the next 4 months

  • i knew your australian because there was a kangaroo in a couple of your vids. lol jk :-)

  • On accents I think 100% of Brits would not only be able to tell that you were Australian but I bet 50% would be able to tell what part of Australia. As a Brit I can certainly tell what part of the country an American is from just by their accent.

  • Its winter here, but I still don't see snow :D

  • how could anyone not know your australian.. people in this world are so challenged today.

  • I'm from America and I knew you were Australian from the start. Australian and English accents are totally different!

And its now winter here, I hate it. I'd kill for it to be summer again, I never get tired of summer.

  • @TheOnlyFairee You just gave me an idea. I will buy a house in Australia and be there when it's winter in America and vice versa. Of course for now I can only do that in my dreams.

  • @jlearne I've had the same dream for the longest time. Hopefully in the future it will come true >.<

  • On behalf of the smart people in the USA, let me apologize for the retards amongst us who are so ignorant of the world they are incapable of understanding the difference between Australia and the U.K. Little clues like your accent, the fact that it's summer in December (Southern Hemisphere anyone) etc. should have clued them in.

Love your videos BC, keep 'em coming please.

  • I live in UK and can't imagine December's being a hot month

  • some irish accents sound like the american accent. it's baffling to me.

  • In my country (colombia) the weather is EMO style: Heavy sun, then heavy rain, then heavy rain with heavy sun with a rainbow xD

I don't know what the hell is here, climate desease maybe? :P

  • If you'd be so kind to demonstrate an American accent. I didn't think we had one. I've got a bit of a southern accent, I guess. What do you think Americans sound like?

  • it is also very interesting hearing from you that yo uare burning :D when i look at my thermometer here in slovakia, it is 3 degrees :D

  • Hey blinky ! im glad you finally added next 2 vids :) man how many fans realised that you are riding on left side... they all think yo uare in UK, but none of them realised that there is summer on your vids, and in UK it is like 0 degrees :D:D

  • Strange weather here also , normally in dec it's around -4c and snowy but these days it's 10c and raining LOL. BTW you can hear your an aussie from a mile away.

  • It's not so funny when I realize it's 50 degrees Celsius colder here than at your place.

  • Where i live WINTER IS HERE!!!

  • @PIGMAN1391 england?

  • Its so weird to hear him say its sooo damn hot. Then I go outside and my nipples get hard.

  • @blinkycab make a video doing your best impersonation of a boston accent lol

  • What about the Trinidadian accent :)

  • 6FretsUnder is completely right, one other thing that I noticed is that in Australia they use Kilometres per hour; here in the UK we use Miles an hour. Oh and one more thing we don’t use Dollars here we use Pounds (£).

  • I forgot. Australia. Southern Hemisphere. Reverse as North in seasons. I looked outside my window at the 3 feet of snow on the ground and I thought you had lost it. XD

  • Comment removed

  • Seriously. Some people thought you were from the UK?! We only have 3 lane roads on the motorways and our reg plates are completely different to yours lol.. Also look at the weather and the sky, UK is all grey and cloudy, yours is all blue and big white fluffy marshmallowy clouds aha!

  • Dude just ride don't talk about the weather. Its cold here in the Northeast US and can't ride much so just ride. lol Now I bet you can't tell the difference between New Yorkers and Boston people or North US and South US. lol so don't say you can tell the difference. we mess up with you and UK u mess up with North and South US lol :p

  • @Ana1Hai1 Its pretty easy to recognize a southern accent imo

  • eww summer In December?! So no white Christmas for you eh?

  • Bloody colonies running around thinking they've got rights to their own country, accents 'n shit! :D Well jealous of your summer just starting - snow hit us in Scotland today, so I could do with being too hot for a few days!

  • my gf loves summer and I hate it too, heat sucks ass, dont know how she likes it

  • winter is officially here in canda

  • OMG seriously? Not being able to distinguish New Zealander & Australian accent...ok. But Australian and British(UK)? Forgive us Blinkycab, not all of us Americans are that stupid. Just the majority.

  • It's +2 C in Finland, which is unusually warm during this time of the year.. :P

  • that chick has a real hot ASS

  • yay, i'm one of the "loyal fans"! 1:05

    \o/

  • @JPZEZITO yes!

  • @JPZEZITO I'd say not retarded :p

  • lol i wish your weather was here in the uk

  • I cant tell the difference between a canadian accent and an american accent so.. its fair

  • Do you like to live in Australia? Does it have a good economy, good workplaces, nice weather, hot girls? So, altogether, would you advise someone to live there?

  • @GuilhermeCosta1992

    Two words: Toilet spiders.

  • @zanuha LOOOL, it could still be worth it, but for that, it has to be very good.

  • @GuilhermeCosta1992 We currently have the fastest growing economy in the developed world. Our government's debt to GDP is the lowest among all OECD countries. The country is very rich in resources (mining). We have free health care and good employment conditions (4 weeks annual leave a year, sick leave, etc.).

We've got a lot of great beaches, the weather is pretty good, and yes, I like to think we have a high ratio of attractive women.

  • @crthebigo that seems awesome, thanks for the info ;)

  • Raining a lot in Brazil, can't ride very often. That's bad! Nice video Blinky. Glad to see two videos in a week!

  • can someone tell me why it is summer over there and not in the usa? like the reason why not like the dates of seasons

  • @TuskanyTV the angle of the earth

  • @riskit4abizkit thanks for the info much appreciated

  • I clicked on this thinking yeah obviously....then I realized....It's December?!?!?!? Mindfucked for a minute there until I remembered your Gold Coast videos xD

  • need to move there so i can have my b-day in the summer:D

  • very different accents, but I can't tell and Aussie from a person from New Zealand, and sometimes South Africans can sound very similar to Aussies.

  • ya'll have a very similar accents to the British at least to an American ear. I would imagine the differance is like a Boston vs New York accent or Texas vs Louisiana accent here in the States.

  • Well here in the USA we have 2 accent northern and southern

  • Btw blinky can u make a video about like "how to keep cool in the summer: wat types of gear to get"?? I think it would help out a lot of ppl ob wat tyoes of jackets to get
