I read in another artical that he only told a couple people because he didn't want people to look at him as someone to sympathize for. I think that was really great of him. Go Earl!

Earl won because he played smart! Yauman would not have made that far if it weren't for Earl. Yau has said this in numerous interviews. We have no idea how the jury would have truly voted, because there was no tribal council with Earl and Yau. I believe Earl would have been very persuasive in getting votes, especially since his social game was better than Yau's. Don't believe all of the CBS editing, Earl was the mastermind. He truly deserved the respect and the money. Brilliant!
