@dimajocar Precisamente en Karate, el kihon kumite es para desarrollar el sen no sen, o sea, la anticipación, que es lo mas importante en todas las artes marciales
what's the difference between tai jitsu and ju jitsu... tai jitsu looks waaaay cool but there are only ju jitsu clubs in my area? A lot of Ju jitsu vids look more like Judo. Whereas Tai jitsu seems to have the Aikido style locks thrown (arf :)) in. I know that all these arts are based on Ju jitsu anyway, I used to do Judo, Karate, kickboxing and Aikido and came accross some nice jujitsu in my travels (a long time ago). I want to take something up again to beat the middle aged spread.
@cnthtinkofanyname siento no poder responder en ingles pero si es tai jutsu confundes el taijutsu con el ninpo taijutsu el ninpo taijutsu es el combate modificado por los shinobis y el taijutsu puro es este
looks strong but very stiff and slow indeed. you should not publice this kind of demos, somebody may try believe and try them in practise- with dangerous results !
I think you're not comprehending that this video is showing practised technique in slow-motion to demonstrate the approximate movements in a real situation. I've studied and practised (and taught) Western Boxing, Jiu jutsu, Lau Gar and Muay Thai over the years (as well as working doors for years). But I imagine that anyone employing the use of the word 'dragon' in a nickname either is a dragon (!) or perhaps has a superficial view of marital arts and what works...
@ccthedragon If someone watches this (or any other video) and tries to replicate that defense technique without proper training... then they probably deserve whatever dangerous results they end up with. we can just say its darwin at work if that happens.
okay i was taught a differnet move to that but still ohwell jujitsu is cool i havent got my belt yet as i'm new i'm scared bout the exam grade thing but ohwell lol the moves are cool i'm suprised they didn't do osotograrry or howeva u spell it lol.
Accepting or not trying to avoid a knife stab is even a better way of getting killed. Nobody will tell you you have to resist or counter attack a knife yielding person. But the fact somebody is yielding a knife at you says enough about his openess for a good talk. Indeed you can always try to run, good thinking, but besides that I wouldn't stick to running training only.
I refuse to believe that anyone with any level dan in tai-jutsu would not bend their knees during a demonstration. That is the first and foremost lesson in taijutsu, and most other martial arts (I can't think of one that doesn't tell you to bend your knees.) There is simply no way.
might not want to stab him in the neck like t hat , unless you WANT blood sprayed all over you... hehe
