  • Eating meat means killing , drinking milk means slavery...

  • Everything is OK. Back to normal. The mantra balances everything. It brings positive energy and happiness.

  • Why does the Temple floor have the checkerboard pattern of a Masonic Temple?

  • whoever the god is .. krishna, allah, christ or void .. this voice is closest to him. It is so beautiful!

  • spiritually illuminating thru the cosmos...ommmm

  • great. krishna is a supreme god

  • Beautifull singing:)

    Hare Krishna

  • It's sad, but unfortunately, every religion whether Hindu, Christian etc has evil seeds to deal with it in their organizations. It reflects badly against the innocents in these groups who are trying to do good.

  • @robindrakescorpio Yes. It is the material world after all. Even the Pandavas had to suffer adversities at the hands of "family members". (An impetus to want to get out of this material world! => ; - )

  • @yatenkaiohu if you are not affiliated with ISKCON then I appologise. If you are in any way a member then here is a snippet of evidence to firmly suggest you are brainwashed.....just google cults

  • nice song

  • hare krishna

  • Girl in blue saree is red hot....and sizzling voice...

  • hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare..........

  • SCS Math anyone? :D

  • Is this the same bhakti that shaved her head in india about a year ago????

  • Yes, she is...

  • WOW! She sings awesome!!!!! I gotta tell her.

  • Lord Chaitanya had said One who thinks himself lower than the grass, who is more tolerant than a tree, and who does not expect personal honor but is always prepared to give all respect to others can very easily always chant the holy name of the Lord.

Lets chant in the spirit, recommended by Lord Chaitanya.

  • beautiful...Hare Krishna :)

  • Hare krishna i agree with the comments benedictions , yes! chanting the hare krishna help me , don t smoke

  • Chanting the Hare Krishna mantra is the sweetest of the sweet and the purest. It is transcendentally blissful and bestows all spiritual benedictions. Take care. Haribol.

  • It is not a nice thing to say "Cult " - These people are peaceful and do not bother anyone. You are the cult member....the cult of ignorance.

  • @BrownDavidson Actually even Lord Chaitanya used the word "cult" and it is befitting our Vaishnava line. Only since the 60's in America did the word take on a bad connotation. But indeed we are a "cult". We are a devotional "cult". And it is good. = > ; - )

  • ahjdala andalaja dalay lahan ja ja ja ja

  • Srila Prabhupada, spiritual master of the Hare Krsna Movement, had this style of black and white tiles installed in the famous Krsna Balarama Temple in Vrndavana, India, 76ish, For many of us disciples and disciples of disciples, we remember this style. Perhaps it is an influence, Bengali style, here also?

  • beautiful. Hare Krsna! <3 <3

  • thank you for bringing bliss

  • ?? where could I get a good recording of this song? Downloading? Ordering as cd?

  • you can use the download helper. Make a search in the internet, download the program and then you'll be able to download any youtube video.

  • herzI67 get the latest download of Real Player and you will be able to rip any video on You Tube.

    Peace

  • @herzl67 There is no CD. Play on your computer and bring up the Recorder Program. Record from your mic in front of speakers. Sorry if quality is not for $2,000 Nakamichi tape deck...just good enough for hearing and chanting though! => ; - )

  • @herzl67 send me ur email id, I will send you the mp3 file I created with repeating lines for 1 hr audio.

  • Kalizurlo, there is no particular reason for the floor to be black n white

  • it's traditional Bengali style

  • why hare krishna have the floor black and white like ritual masons?answeeer pleasee

  • its not like ritual..its normal floor.. black and white.. why not? they could put green and blu..

  • @kalizurlo we like marble floors. They are cool in the hot Alachua sun! => ; - )

  • Haribol, Great kirtan. Sri Krsna sankirtan yagya ki jai.

  • hey Hari Bol Prabhus! Please this is not a forum for debate! Please enjoy and chant the mahamantra with Bhakti Mataji and dont spoil the mood!

This chanting should be done without offence or motive-Hare Krishna

  • @gangamata  Yes. Very good idea! => ; - )

  • And lastly- The philosophy of Veering off track was not Prabhpada's nor those of the Guadiya Vaisnavas- so you cant blame them or their line for those who disregard their instructions. And by deduction you can say that those who do not follow thier Guru's instructions are not his real students. And by deduction we can conclude that the Isckon of which you are speaking is not the Real Isckon, but rest soley in those who take thier Guru Maharaj's Instructions as their Life and Soul. Any questions?

  • Has Catholisism- (sorry If i spelled that wrong)- made mistakes- i.e. - the inquisitions, has Islam made them with Holy Wars and Suicide bombers today? You can't blame a whole group for the sins of a few individuals. How about our Government? - NO they dont make mistakes-Your conclusion as you have presented it-Is Anarchy. If not Sir what is your alternative?

  • All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God- is it or isnt it? So we all want to cast the first stone- since we are on the subject of our emotional garbage I have pain associated with women in my life- I feel I have been betrayed is it right or wrong that I blame all for women for all eternity for those experiences? Or should I learn and grow those experiences? Isckon has learned and will continue to learn from her mistakes. Has protestant Christianity had none i.e. The witch hunts

  • Another point is you remind me of a joke that you remind me of a joke i heard- When asked by a Pastor why he never went to church the man replied- There are to many hypocrites in Church- to which the pastor replied- Dont worry- there is always room for one more. How long ago where you in the Temple?

  • The Garbage can is this world. The association of devotees is essential for spiritual advancement. Otherwise we fall into the same non=sense everyone else is engaged in. Sorry if you feel I adondoned you I will toil with you as long as like- Haribol

  • No , I dont excuse anything, but it is what it is. This world is a slaugther house- there are so many horible things that go on everyday. My point is that The Lotus Feet of the Lord are our only shelter and refuge by abandoning which we gain nothing. Of course I have experience of devotees being imperfect- so what? Everything in this world is. But if we abandon God because we see that others have defects then what do we gain? We are meant to get out of the Garbage Can not clean the Garbage Can.

  • But about you Sonenkinder1939? Give up your nonsense you have been soundly defeated - just chant Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare and be happy. The pain that's causing you to flail about thusly, will be gone soon and you'll go back home back to Godhead. HARIBOL!

  • He didnt compromise on the integrity of the system. Gaudiya Math they chant 64 rounds - because the devotees had lots of service to do they chant 16, Prabhupad initiated women and so on- everything that he did was very expert on the platform of Serving his Spiritual Master and Lord Chaitanya. A Maha Bhagavata like Prabhupada can adjust things in such a way that all things can be reconsiled for the satisfaction of the Lord. Ifyour argument isthat we are notso expert as Him then you right.

  • Of course new Gurus will come and they must receive worship from their disciples because that is the System - Guru Parampara - Given by God- Obviously not everyone that is charge of or responsible for others are always perfect. But by your logic- if there is a bad parent somewhere all parents must be bad- parenthood is a fantasy and must be done away with it is a phantasmagoria. Again a fallacy- What Prabhupada did was to make this System more user friendly for people in the west.

  • I would be the first to tell you that we are not perfect. An imperfect devotee is always better than a perfect Demon. Now as to whether or not people are supposed to worship or respect their teachers- A real devotee will do everything for his teacher- those disciples of Prabhupada who are conscious of him will offer any worship they receive from their disciples and offer it to Prabhupada that is the system. Our philosophy is not like Christianity in which we believe that there is only one son.

  • Or the scriptures say... there is a difference between imperfect following and antagonistic intent, for example look at your page the picture of a almost nude woman would be an example of blatant disrespect for any Religious system.. Devotees making mistakes out of impurity or immaturity is another. You see the difference is this they are trying to serve. You are watching from the sidelines and criticizing. It says in the Bhagavtam that snakes dont fall-only someone that is standing up can fall.

  • Your last statement is completely fallacious on several accounts- but primarily the fault in logic is called, begging the question- although as before you use poisoning the well and ad homenym.- The question begged is that they have changed Prabhupadas Religion- the devotees that are not in maya do what they do based on Prabhupadas orders. Now if they said lets disregard what Prabhupad said that would be a different story. And in fact if you meet a sincere devotee he will say Prabhupad said.....

  • I am sure that most of the day-to-day devotees are sincere. The problem is that, when the very foundation of the relgion has been either distorted or completely corrupted, then all aspects of it must be corrupted. What happen with the 11 gurus after (and before) Prabupads death can not compare with the execution of the final orders Jesus gave to his Apostles. These orders, by all accounts, were carried out. Unlike Prabupads. The Gurus changed the religion when he died.

  • How exactly was it changed?

  • whats the text to this song.#

she is singing hare krishna haram?

    hare krishna haream?

  • hare krisna hare krisna

    krisna krisna hare hare

    hare rama hare rama

    rama rama hare hare

  • absolute garbage.

  • Can you imagine prasadam in this environment?

Chanting is the best experience. Bhakti Yoga is supreme. Iskcon temples are places of light from devotion.

  • You need to get some peace in your life; or just get a life. It's your choice.

  • Hari Bol! Beautiful Krishna!

  • This is a wonderful video!!! Perfect!!!

  • Love in material terms is certainly an infatuation which gives to lust. However, what we arwe talking about here is love for the Supreme personality of Godhead, you may name that person Krishna or Buddha, either way they are names for the One who is Love Himself.

  • Haribol! Very nice video

  • Haribol, Love is the essence. Chant and have fun. The more fun the better

  • watch?v=ry9LVdwKel8

  • The Hare Krisna Maja Mantra could not be more dull. Seriously, the next time a Diety comes down here to pose as the Supreme being, I'm going to be right there to help him/her deliver as song or mantra thats actually pleasent for Human Beings. The instruments make the mantra a little easier to tolerate but seriously! After singing this mantra over and over, you wan't to strangle yourself. God help us!

  • Actually there is nothing more sublime then the Hare Krsna mahamantra, however it appears dull to those who are dull themselves. Perhaps you should chant Cocacola

  • Yea, I've been hearing from the devotees how sublime it is, but really after chanting this montra for hours on end, I have realized that this chant will haunt you for days and it doesn't bring any sublimeness, If it did, I'm sure I would have noticed it by now.

  • I doubt you know what being sublime means. See when you chant this mantra it purifies your consciousness, it has helped millions. We have had millions of lifetimes of dirt that we are trying to wash, the more sincere we are the faster the process works. So its not that the mantra doesnt work, the process is fine, the application of the process has to be performed properly.

  • if you really want to enhance ur chanting u should refrain from illicit sex, meat eating, gambeling, and intoxication. we need to also try to be attentive. the process if applyed properly will deliver result.

  • Ohh, mabey thats why the chanting hasn't done anything for me. Hey, don't you have to include a little meat in your diet? I mean, All the vegetarians I know look really un-healthy.

  • no a proper veg diet is very healthy ive been veg for 15 years and am very healthy...its just a matter of good balance and healthy foods.

  • One has to fall in love with the mantra. I havent been able to do it on my own but I love seeing and hearing this. Very spiritual vibes. These people are only wanting the absolute truth.. the search for God ends Here.

  • Beautiful...I wish I was there participating!

  • You stated that you were an impersonalist so that means God has no form no qualities ect thus makeing Him zero. This is nonsense to be attached to Krsna and His devotees is not a cause for suffering because it is transendental by nature. I dont think you really know what is Bhakti. Love is the goal or symptom of someone who has Bhakti. Not so much the means. Jnana is the servant of Bhakti because the Bhakta already has the qualities of the Jnani.

  • Zero means non-existant or nothing and God is just the opposite since God is Pure Existence which is not zero. How can pure existence be non-existence?

THe only quality of a realized Jnani is union with the Impersonal Absolute. WHile for the Bhakti I would imagine it is life with Krishna on Krishnaloka...You are attached to your personality thus you need a personal god...

  • If you take away quality then ur left with zero. Your imagineation of Bhakti is incorrect. Krishna's exsistance is never Zero the impersonalist attempts to make Him zero. By saying God has no form qualities ect. This is there ignorance. Krishna Himself says that these characters are the most ignorant fools. There are so many personalities, where do they come from? They come from the supreme Person Krishna. If we have quality why wouldnt God. To say He cant have a form means He has limits.

  • and if that person has limits he cant be God.

  • "If you take away quality then ur left with zero"

The Sages teach that god is SatChitAnand and God has all these Infinitly. Yet to speak of these as qualities implies an absence which is zero and God is pure SatChitAnand so this implication is invalid since we cannot speak of the Impersonal in terms of qualities since the only reality is God and there is no absence in God and thus no zero.

Where does Krishna say they are fools I would like to read it for myself?

  • avyaktam vyaktim apannam manyante mam abuddhaya

    param bhavam ajananto mamaavyayam anuttamam

Unintelligent men, who do not know Me perfectly, think that I,the supreme personality of Godhead, Krsna, was impersonal before and now assumed this personality. Due to there small knowledge, they do not know My higher nature, which is imperishable and supreme.

  • avajananti mam mudha manusim tanum asritam

    param bhavam ajananto mama bhuta-mahesvaram.

Fools deride Me when I decend in the human form. They do not know my transendental as the supreme Lord of all that be.

  • So here are a couple examples for you. Sat-cit-ananda eternal full of knowledge and bliss. These are QUALITIES so by ur own statement one could conclude God is Personal. U said "we cant speak of impersonal in terms of qualities" but then you say He is sat-cit-ananda so you speak of Him in terms of quality and say Hes impersonal at the same time? I was wondering why you ignored my previous questions?

  • I was not ignoring your previous questions we just have been going all over the place with our discussion...perhaps we can start messaging each other and focus on specifics. also I would like the actual references of the above quotes that way I can read them in context. These are qualities indeed but only for explanation they do not denote nor define the Self as the Self is beyond word descriptions. I will message you.

  • Further my making that statement is no reflection upon the many who do practice Jnana...look at Ramana Maharshi he reached enlightenment at 16 via Jnana..prabhupad, as far as I can tell, never reached it...he was poisoned from what I heard. and now ISKCON is ruled by a bunch of old white men with a few token coloureds running around acting like Indians and being called Your Holiness...what a crock!!!

  • With all respect who are you that youre an athority on who has reached "enlightenment"? What do coloured people have to do with the eternal soul? This so called poisoned thing is somthing that some demoniac people concocted for their own selfish reasons.

  • and your sexual desires are curbed michaelgrs? you have absolutly NO sexual desires? If a beautiful female devotee came up to you and tried to seduce you, if you are any part the man, you would not feel in the least aroused?

  • Not curbed but I for sure dont go around making low class comments. Im married so I dont have any interest in "Beautiful female devotees" We also practice restraint from sex life. Only for childeren so as of now im celiabate. Im not so interested in being "THE MAN" as you put it. My only interest is to serve Krishna.

  • What is wrong with saying that a female devotee is beautiful...? The wrong is trying to act upon it like a dogg...All beauty comes from God and thus reflects God's pure aesthetic, so there is nothing wrong with that...I think many devotees in the West are still hung up on their Christian morality and how it treats sex a dirty which AC did...

  • you said hot with a not such a elegant undertone as you just stated. This is the culture in India as well (the sex life) sex is not dirty if it is used in Krishna's service.

  • Hot is a more primal term for female beauty and as long as one does not dishonor the female devotee by acting on these impulses there is nothing wrong with thinking a female devotee as beautiful or hot...sex in or out of Krishna is neither dirty nor clean. At the highest level there is neither black nor white only steadyness of mind where knowledge can shine as Brahman/Krishna...

  • How can one have steadyness of mind if they are distracted by so called beauty? To look at ones physical body and think it is attractive is foolishness. Even the most neophyte jnani knows this truth. If one engages in unrestricted sex life they are no better than a dog. This Brahman realization is only the first step of realization. Just to entertain the idea that it is the end all....then what does one do? What does one do he/she do with that aquired knowledge?

  • At the highest level, which is inacurate since there is no level in Brahman only one, true there is only steadiness. I agree about the unrestricted sex life. With knowledge ignorance false off over time so the theory goes. The alternative is spending eternity frolicing with Krishna (if you are a literalist which I am not). I prefer the Impersonal as Love for a god is attachment.

  • I find this discussion very fascinating. I take refuge in Buddhist teachings and I find that mayombe's position on ridding attachments parallels the ideas being preached in Buddhist Dharma. Love is also considered to be an attachment and in general infatuation is frowned upon.

  • hare krsna. bhakti devi dasi,

    agtsp!

i am so fortunate to be able to take some association of this cry to krsna for more service. i need some service too. Hari-Bol!

  • Anyone knof if there any CD recordings available of her chanting? Her voice is beautifully haunting!

  • Anyone knof if there any CD recordings available of her chanting? Her voice is beautifully haunting!

  • haribo

    thank you

  • you sense NO joy because you are not a true devotee of Lord Krsna. WHY? Because a true devotee concentrates on the sound od the mantra, u focusus on music to bring joy to the mantra when it is not nessicarly, haribol

  • This is true music is only the external maya to please the senses. They make beautiful music.

  • To:jrjr18181 who wrote "you sense NO joy because you are not a true devotee of Lord Krsna. WHY? Because a true devotee concentrates on the sound od the mantra, u focusus on music to bring joy to the mantra when it is not nessicarly, haribol"

Maheshsvari replies: This is true music is only the external maya to please the senses. They make beautiful music.

  • Hare Krishna.

I know Bhakti didi well we sewed outfits for the deities when I went to Alachua to visit. She is an amazing personality.

    Thanks for this

  • Thank you for Chanting Hare Krishna. The Names of God are pure and beautiful.

  • No Mataji,

they all are musicians and they sat down and played and I was happy to get the song on tape. I have Bhakti dasi singing other sings and I will be happy to share those also. She has a devotional heart, listen to the tune. The whole affair was spontaneous.

The Deities were out of the camera's view at this point of the film, sorry. But it is inside the temple room of Lord Krishna and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai.

  • sorry...this is painful to watch! Couldn't they at least sing another bhajan!? y must it only be "hare krishna, krishna krisha, hare rama" ? There are other devotional songs to Krishna...and how come there is no Murti to which they devote the prayer? OR...where are their offerings?!!? Their diyas?! WHAT IS THIS?!

  • The process of Krsna Consciousness or self realization is to understand where we are in our bhakti. SB 12,2,47 states "a devotee who fully engages in worship of the Diety in the temple but does not behave properly toward others or people in general is called a prakrta bhakta or a materialistic devotee.

You should try to see others as very nicely engaging in service of your worshippable Lord.Don't mind that there may be some mistake or inebrity. We only see in others what is present in ourselves

  • You dont need a murthi to worship Krishna,or to devote yout prayer to Him, He is onmipresent. Light His Diya in your heart, see Him in You. Chnat his name evrywhere and be happy

  • There are so many artis your correct but have to be sung at correct times for the different gods and goddess. Therefore chanting the mantra is the best way to become pure and to understand Krishna. It is also call maha for a reason.

  • Its painful for you to watch a devotee sing for Krsna? Wow. amazing. The Hare Krsna Mahamantra contains all other mantras. There is a deity of Krsna and that is who she is singing to. Now about the offerings and such, thats interesting, its a video of just over 4 minutes, i doubt you see or understand the whole picture.

  • HARE KRISHNA!!!!!!!!!!

  • So great is the mystery of Godlyness that God was manifest in the flesh.. (Bible). I do not disagree with you. Regarding sin, even that is ok for God rather than repent we turn to God(Repent=metanoia).

  • karrawa ~ A good channel for you to also add your comments is the channel;

"Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare"

    and

"Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Ram"

    Thanks for your comments :-)

  • Dude,, chill out.. Jesus said that he was the son of God and we respect him. He never said he was God. We worship God instead. Its ok... don't flip out.

If you believe in Jesus, follow his teachings.. the 6th commandment says thou shall not kill... Think about it.

  • There are only God and all the souls. And the bound of love between. No demons, no demigods and no eternal existence of material world. The only one who has realized that are the Krishna devotees. Plain and simple.

  • Hare Krishna :)

  • If you hate Gods messenger, you´ve ruin being born as a human again. And you hate me too, so try die with a smile because i´m not really humble like the devotees. I am your worst nightmare. Say hello to Tarashakti soon.

God bless Prabhupada and his followers! I simply try to collect some dust after Prabhus feet.

  • I am sorry, but you should think before you speak. There is evidence in Srimad Bhagavatam:krsna-varnam tvisa-'krsnam sangopangastra-parsadam

    yajnaim sankirtana-prayair-yajanti hi sumedhasam

  • Very cool. Wonderful.

  • Prabhupada was motivated to only please his guru, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta. Gaudiya-Madhva Vaishnavas are an extremely esoteric cult. Not all will be able to accept this enlightened awareness of the Absolute Truth. THAT HE is a person who PLAYS ALL DAY with the boys and PLAYS ALL NIGHT with the girls.

BTW_ Krishna is not God. Brahma is the God in the Christian Bible. Krishna is the Supreme Personality of the Godhead. God is just one of millions of Gods Krishna has created.

  • Animation of the material elements through five stages of life give evidence of the presence of a soul within a body. Dead matter cannot animate itself. Movement and growth, offspring, and death happen only where a soul is present, just as any machine needs a driver to move. Faith allows you to believe. Faith is given when you decide you want to KNOW and inquire submissively from those that truly do.

  • The immature males argue and shout as the angel with the soul-ful voice and her band sing and play for God alone

  • Geez, take it easy. That would be like saying Jesus Christ isn't mentioned anywhere in the Old Testament, so I'm don't believe in him. You ever hear of Chaitanya Charitamrtra? B.Gita As It Is: a unique translation in that it correctly establishes Lord Krishna as a personal God, and not some white light.

  • Yes I have heard and read Caitanya Caritmrta, which is not part of established vedic literature, neither is brahma samhita, which was founded by Caitnaya. Jesus's comparision is not relevant here as we are talking about the "abode" of God [goloka vrindavan] which is NOT mentioned in any vedic literature. All vedic scriptures are in agreement with eachother, not conflicting.

  • very beautiful bhajan.thanks for posting.jai prabhupada!

  • Brothers and sisters, please acept my respectfull obaisances. Jai Prabhupad!

    Hare Krishna from Ukraine!

  • The bhajans are sung very nicely. And is it a girl or a boy playing the mridanga?

    Haribol

    from HOLLAND

  • A boy. Rama das, son of Draupadi dasi. His wonderful devotee father died a few years ago. (Sorry, can't remember his name.)

  • The most great people go as the first ones to Krishna....

    He plays great mridanga though...

  • enchanting hare rama hare krishna Oh Lord how you inspire me fill up my senses

    Hari Bol!!!

    JaiMa James

  • Beautiful stirring thankyou, i love it

  • Hare Krishna, It's wonderful! Thanks for posting this!

  • and can u tell me who is that girl playing the drum.

  • Rama das, son of Draupadi dasi (his devotee father passed away a few years ago), is playing the drum. I have footage of Rama playing mrdunga at the bhajanas in Vrndavan I plan to put up too.

  • enchanting bhajan, lovely

  • can someone tell me where this is

  • The Hare Krishna farm in Alachua, Florida, USA.

  • It is Vaikuntha itself if you chant along in humble sincerity and full faith.

Good to see these youngsters engaged in Lord Chaitanya's directive.

I humbly pray to Krishna that I may have the fortune to take birth amongst these sincere people.

  • This is at the Hare Krsna temple in Alachua, FL. The largest in North America.
