The cricketeer only made 10% of his swings with a baseball pitch and bat; Despite never playing cricket, Reynolds scored 70% in play, easily scoring six runs with his tape-measures. His sweet spot was as big as a basketball hoop compared to what he is used to hitting.

Just after Ian Botham was in the England cricket team that won the Ashes from Australia, Botham's agent brought him to LA, just after the Dodgers won the World Series. The Dodgers put up their third string pitcher, and Botham took a look at the first two pitches, before hitting the third clear into the stands over 350' away. he did that to all the subsequent pitches, with the pitcher trying harder and harder and harder.

With instructions apparently to see to it that this 'cricketer' was put in his place, this Dodgers pitcher (who had pitched several victories in the recent World Series) threw everything he had at Botham, who calmly swatted him away, and into the midfield stands, like he was some annoying little fly.

Finally, out of sheer embarrassment, the Dodgers called a halt to proceedings.
