im just a general trance listener. you define genre's by percussion loops, synths and elements. techno, ambient house, trance and other electronic styles all originate in house and are seperated by individual trends. this is ninties trance since it is more melodic, follows a 4/4 kick and a 4/4 bassline. techno is much slower and formed from detroit techno, completely seperate from this.. im not a genre guru and i dont listen to techno much, but i know whats what, and this is definately trance...
