Again to reiterate, the govt must ban the use of firearms on unarmed protesters. Every Indian (J&K is part of India and people of J&K are Indian) is entitled to freedom of speech and should be allowed to voice their opinion & grievances and even if they do throw stones no bullets should be used against them. That said anyone who chants slogans against India or burns our flag must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law as must soldiers who fire on unarmed civilians.

Jagmohan is to blame but so are the Pakistani militants and the other politicians who did nothing to stop ethnic cleansing of the Pundits. I don't have facts and figures on how many Pundits were killed, how many temples were destroyed, how many Muslims were tortured and killed by Indian security forces, but no one can deny that it did not happen, caused primarily by the apathy of consecutive governments which is why our brothers (Hindus and Muslims in Kashmir) are suffering.
