@noshrunner The input volume just seems really low. Usually I can't stand having my volume at 100% for Youtube videos but i had to put it there for this one and I could still only barely hear it :p Nice vid though.
@firendable I'd go with the stable release, which is firefox 9 now. I will be doing a review of it in the next week or so... I typed Sirvermel and Charamel XT into google and got this: "Silvermel is offered as bundle - it installs "Silvermel and Charamel XT" extension to support font uppercase and letter spacing for labels on Firefox's sidebars, Thunderbird's folder pane, Address Book and Account Configuration window. The extension also colorizes the url bar according to security state."
i will not use firefox any longer - its slow, very slow, for what reason i should use it? i use firefox from 2004 - and now will not. its takes 1 GB of my RAM - that's non-sense. i remember when its really fast and cool, but now? i am back to interent explorer
@SporeCreator2009 I ran 7 and it was slooooowwwww so I went back to 3.6.xxx - today I upgraded to 8 and it works fine though I had to remove some add ons and replace some, change some features and put in a Firefox 3 theme (I like that look, just the best setup they ever did). So far so good.
I did have to go to about:config and modify the browser.showQuitWarning from false to true to have it ask me to save and quit when I am closing FF and multiple tabs are open. 2 seconds and it works fine again like 3.6.
@rhblakeman I never had a problem with ANY firefox version. Never had any slow problems, all ran fine. The only problem i have is an occasional freezing, but it freezes TONS less than Internet Explorer, so I'm happy.
@SporeCreator2009 Well so far so good with 8.0 upgrade from 3.6.xx and once I added a FF 3 theme to make it look like I want it things were fine and have been.
I'd been using FF forever but I've had nothing but problems after the FF 7 update & 7.01 was no help at all. It constantly freezes and locks up. I can't hardly get anything done. I HATE it. I tried un-installing 7 to re-install FF 6 but they removed it. Any suggestions on how to fix it or should I get a new browser? I'm using Win 7.
@Hercules2345 You could go to oldversion (dot) com and download firefox 6 from there. They have all the versions actually, even 0.6 lol. I'm gonna do the same and not gonna update it until they fix the hangtime issue or until aurora is fully released.
@0peppers Good idea. Firefox 3.6 seems like a good bet, in that its old enough to still be pretty fast (not much bloatware), but new enough in that firefox are still updating it security wise. Even though I review internet browsers, I get annoyed with them so often, because I just want one, but none are good enough to be the sole programme. Opera is probably fastest, but facebook and a few other major sites are still not fully compatible, it jitters a lot when scrolling through rows of pictures
@0peppers and other annoying things. Firefox is not as simplified as it should be, but it is getting better and chrome has possible privacy issues, plus crap hotmail/gmail checking. Sad face lol
@NoshRunner I agree lots of issues still, especially the memory usage since i only got 2gb of ddr2 and its using up to 300mb of it. But I'm soon upgrading to 4gb ddr3 :).
I don't see however what's so crappy about gmail/hotmail checking or are you talking abt chrome here?
However I preffer firefox above all since it's the most customizable out there. Like anything you would want as an addon they have it. Let's hope we get the best with aurora.
@0peppers I'm talking about the extensions available to check multiple hotmail/gmail accounts. Opera is good in that it has an inbuilt gmail checker that works, however the only multiple hotmail checker is the same extension on chrome and opera and it is rubbish! The firefox one is decent though.
@NoshRunner By the way I just downgraded to firefox 6.0.2 and works like a charm. If u do it as well remember to go to options first and disable the automatic updates.
@Liamm4You I used to use Firefox more because since I have multiple Hotmail accounts, Firefox had a better extension to check them all at once, but since I have now mostly moved over to gmail, I like chrome more. I feel chrome is still the fastest and simplest browser out there :)
@NoshRunner my favourite is probably chrome, I like the UI in firefox more than the simplistic UI in Chrome but the speed of Chrome and the google account syncing makes it slightly better :)
I even had to turn my volume down o.o

@Hercules2345 try FF8. I would recommend you use anything EXCEPT IE9. IE is tons worse than FF.
