I am a substitute, and this week I had a 16 year old student with no high school diploma call me a "fucking idiot." I ripped him a new verbal asshole and told the other student the next day, I'm 59 years old and have some impressive life accomplishments. I still get called names, I can't run to my parents and tell like they do, my parents are both gone. Anyway, I played the class this 40+ year old song and told them that's how life is. The kids loved it.
