would be worth taking a piece of PVC pipe, put him inside a kart wheel of the same diameter, but deflated, and while inflating inside to make it subject to pressure?

Very cool! When I was a lad I made a trolley that did this. It had HUGE ball bearing rollers on the rear, so was really easy to drift. Great for spins too as it didn't flip over.

I can see this becoming a craze.

Hey, you should do the Piha hill! It's pretty steep though... Drops about 250m in 3km.
