I wonder: if Albanians want to live with Serbs, why does KLA exist? Why are they pushing Serbs out of Kosovo? Why are they seceding Serbia's territory and claiming it as their own?

If some of them don't like Serbs, move to Albania. It's your country.

- No one is pushing Serbs out of Kosovo, they are going away voluntarily. Kosovo has a ministry dedicated to the return of serbs and other MINORITIES.

- Kosovo IS Albanian territory. The history is written deep down in historical spots and in the mountain areas where the Serb invaders could not penetrate because of the tough pathways.

- Kosovo's legal status is relative; it is defined by where you live.

P.S. KLA existed 9 months ago but unofficial, hidden among Kosovo police forces, drug cartels and partly inactive. There are maybe some active members even today, rearing their ugly heads wherever Serbian population is present.

Again, I don't believe al_Jazeera is fair in suggesting Kosovo institutions under UNMIK, especially legal institutions, have succesfully integrated Serbs. It's more a case of a small number of Serbs trying to deal with the situation under occupation and eke out some sort of existence, while also providing a much greater level of protection than the KFOR troops which have allowed Albanians to perpetrate 100,000s of crimes. Legal institutions in Kosovo are at best a poorly constructed facade.

If the Serbs continue their defiance they could very well shut themselves out from the states institutions which could have bad consequences for the Kosovar Serb community. If Belgarde wants a partition, which these Serbs demand, then they should offer to neogote one with Pristina, but if they keep doing this through its Serbs than the Albainian will likwise radicalize and put the region on a war footing.

International law applies to all civilized nations so it must to U.S.A and European Union and their puppet countries.

It is too simplistic to say that they "refuse" to recognise the independence of Kosovo. These states have simply re-affirmed a position that a simple declaration of independence is not a solution to a very complex issue and is one that needs to be taken under UN auspices.

It's true many countries are refusing to recognise the independence of Kosovo outright, and some are for reasons which are not as firm, but the fact is they are not recognising Kosovo.

If you want to discuss complexities, you should add that all of the countries which recognise Kosovo also recognise the UN and the Security Council, which also means they must recognise Resolution 1244 whereby Kosovo is an integral part of Serbia.
