Remember back in the early 90's dad bought tandy 1000 computer. WE got this game on sale at babbages ro $20 which was a heck of a deal at the time. Prob played this game off and on for a year before reaching the end. Before it was all said and done took all 3 routes to California.
oh wow!! this was one of my all time favorite computer games...and still is!! I just wish I still had this game..I loved playing this...and I always remembered that yellow house!
The account number is written on the old bank statement, which is attached to the roll top of the desk in the living room: close desk; get statement; read statement.
k, thanks. I found out that I can also ask it from the bank's boss. Next question; how do I get the water(that is ment for animals) to a bucket? I found out that I need it in California or I die when horses run down a steep hill with me in the wagon when they see a river
I'm sure you're joking, but did you ever have the chance to run an old game towards the end of the regular use of DOS? I did, and those games would run at incredibly high, unplayable speeds.
This game runs perfect directly from windows xp. The game's timer does only work at normal speed though. For other games you'll probaly have to play them in DosBox.

You may want to take a look at the original Gold Rush! Hint Book. (google for sierravault)

I've wanted to play this game for awhile, it's one of the few Sierra games I was never able to play.
