  • thanks for posting this! RIP Tommy. So young.....what a loss to the music world. BUT....What a tremendous Rythym Quartet they were. Terry carries the name NRBQ on, playing live at the STATE Theatre, Falls Church on Jan 15th.

  • Terry eats a Pop Tart!

  • >one of the greatest bands ever...period.

  • I played in an R&B band out that way and we opened for them many times. A great bunch of folks....

  • NRBQ was the best bar band E_V_E_R. Set your watch by Tommy Ardolino. He's a human metronome. And somebody said it before. Terry is a nut job. Al??? What a terrific guitarist/songwriter/vocalist. But the energy they concoct when they're playing is like no other band. It sends chills up and down my spine. Joey and Johnny... Well, they're great no dispute. I REALLY liked it when they had Keith and Don on the horns. I saw the band mostly in western Mass during the late 70's.

  • I agree with teamsmc...

  • Big Al... I remember him in the Connecticut band the Wildweeds....great thanx

  • one big taco bell...beautiful

  • The Spampinato Bothers still carry the torch!

  • A real band making real music.

  • Best band ever on the planet.

  • Long live the Music of NRBQ! As much as I love this, it makes me a tad sad.

  • Thanks for this. God, I miss the Q.

  • Thanks for posting. I haven't seen this one in a while.
