I used an air raid tactic with the Atreides.

Build 4 or 5 hightech factories. Then build ornithopters but pause the production in 95%.

When you release 4-5 ornis at the same time (start building in all factories) the enemy defense cannot drop all and they just circle around and raze enemy buildings. One ortithopter at the time doesn`t really do much damage.

I loved the way that the rocket turrets were soooo damn powerful and that you had to move one unit at a time. None of this click and drag and send all your heavy tanks in. This game was hard, really hard, I could never complete the last level without saving every 5 mins in case of the damn rockets taking out my construction yard. Atreides rule!!!!

Yeah you're right. I was not old enough to play the amiga version when it came out. Looks a lot more fun than the PC version though. I wish I could have played it. Great game either way. Nice job.

I remember playing Atreides was the most easy house to play.. even in the last mission.

there was this some sort of cheat that I discovered myself.

to make your tanks invisible for the Enemy unless you attack his units, only then they will see you, except for the sonic tanks, those can Kill everything without being seen.

that was fun!

I dunno if this cheat works for you too.
